That said I think he'll probably want to stay there. The europeans play a style that is not as mechanically taxing and it could be hard for him to qualify anywhere else (why give up a premier league spot).

The fan club has been updated with Mvp's WCS EU Round of 16 matches against SaSe and LucifroN. This includes VODs, the interview, and photos. Slowly but surely, I'm getting there! I am currently on page 289.

I have updated the fan club with all games from the Go4SC2 Cup #287. This includes VODs of Mvp vs. Bunny and Mvp vs. Adelscott, as well as replays!! of Mvp vs. Adelscott! Mvp replays are usually insanely hard to find, so that's a real treat. By the way, Mvp's WCS EU Round of 32 group looks easy. Mvp should have the decisive advantage against every single player in that group... Feels great to have the #1 seed, baby. Update I have updated the fan club with VODs from Mvp vs. TLO. I have also signed up the following people (384 total): konvex Maegi RandyL I am currently up to page 292 of the fan club. Update I have updated the fan club with VODs from Mvp vs. DIMAGA. I have added Mvp's WCS EU Ro32 Group to the Upcoming Games section! I have signed up IPeePeeALLDAY (398 members!) and I have updated GSL Blizzard Cup 2012! Now, Mvp's group will occur in about 16 hours, so how about I write a mini-preview, just like old times? xD Mvp's HotS TvP: 72.4% Mvp's HotS TvT: 59.3% Mvp's HotS TvZ: 75.8% elfi's HotS PvT: 48.6% Lifetime Record: Mvp 0-0 elfi elfi did manage to beat TaeJa in DreamHack, 2-1, but his PvT results have mainly been middling against Europeans. Mvp's TvP, on the other hand, has been on fire. He has won victories over Feast, Siw, Socke, and SaSe in recent memory while dropping a series to Alicia. Overall, I am fairly confident that Mvp will continue murdering European Protoss players without breaking much of a sweat. Beastyqt's HotS TvT: 58.3% Lifetime Record: Mvp 0-0 Beastyqt Just looking at the statistics, Mvp's TvT and Beastyqt's TvT have similar win ratios, around 59%. However, if you look at the match history, Mvp's 2-1 victory over Ryung, 3-1 victory over TvT master ForGG, and 2-3 loss to INnoVation paint a much clearer picture. Mvp essentially has a 59% TvT against the best TvTers in the world: Ryung just all-killed StarTale, ForGG has a 90%+ TvT win rate, and INnoVation is, well, the consensus best player in the world. At this point, it seems highly unlikely that Beastyqt will be able to best Mvp's world-class TvT. Tefel's HotS ZvT: 52.7% Lifetime Record: Mvp 0-0 Tefel Just a few weeks ago, Mvp plowed through the WCS EU Finals with a superb understanding of TvZ. 3-0 TLO, 3-0 DIMAGA, and 4-1 Stephano does not tell the full story... neither does a a 75% win rate. Just looking at the 5 games between Mvp and Stephano, Mvp showed that he can do it all. He can use Hellbats, Widow Mine Bio pushes, or good old Mech, even mixing in Banshee plays and deadly cheese. Closing Remarks Traditionally, this is Mvp's time to bomb out of WCS EU. Either he falls here or in the Round of 16... after all, he won the previous season. There is a definite pattern: Mvp wins a tournament, then starts bombing out of tournaments. When he looks weak, he wins. When he looks strong, he drops out of tournaments. Since he just won WCS EU Season 1, he should either fall in the Ro32 or the Ro16 of this season. At least, that is what I would say if his group were difficult. Let's be honest. Mvp is the overwhelming favorite in this group. His performance at the Season Finals of WCS was definitely Top 5 in the world. He looks to be in top form at the moment, and his wrist conditions didn't stop him from going toe to toe with INnoVation. Tefel, Beastyqt, and elfi are good players in their own right, but if any of them manages to take even a single game off Mvp, let alone a series, I would consider it an upset. Predictions Mvp 2-0 elfi Tefel 1-2 Beastyqt Mvp 2-0 Beastyqt elfi 0-2 Tefel Beastyqt 2-1 Tefel Mvp advances in 1st place, 2-0 (4-0)! Domination time! Edit: Apparently Mvp will be playing from Korea with all the associated lag.

Well let's be honest, Tefel went full on terrible and threw the game awfully, but still, what MVP did was pretty sick xD That patience and confidence to play the game from being down to 6 workers.. Spoilered for those who didn't watch WCS EU yet

Mvp 2-1 Tefel Mvp 1-0 Lag Mvp won't be playing again for quite a while now unfortunately, the ro32 for WCS EU continues all the way until July 17th. We'll probably see him play next during the week of the 21st to the 27th of July, unless something comes up before that. Maybe some GSTL matches? If you only have time to watch one VOD, watch Mvp vs Tefel game 1.

Ever since Mvp vs. Bomber in GSTL (which was epic)... there was also Mvp vs. Squirtle G7 (I consider that a comeback because Squirtle had pretty much won until Mvp pulled off that surround), Mvp vs. INnoVation G2 (the best comeback in all of RTS history? ), Mvp vs. Tefel G1... Well, I've updated the fan club with VODs, free courtesy of ESL's YouTube. And also... ROUND OF 16 HERE WE COME The Round of 32 matches essentially earned him $500 and +100 WCS points. Not bad. So far, he has earned $2,000 and +200 WCS points... let's hope he can barrel through the Ro16 and earn even more!
