Hello all, I went ahead and hosted a Jedi Knight II Jedi Outcast multiplayer server for anyone wanting to try out the multiplayer side of things.
Things you will need to connect: Jedi Knight II Client ~650 megs
Patch 1.04 ~1.5 megs
After you are finished downloading, install the client using your choice of iso program, I personally use Daemon Tools. Then install the 1.04 patch. From here it is pretty simple, launch the multiplayer client and press shift+` at the same time to bring down the console. in there type /connect hnbcs.biz and press enter. It will then auto connect to my server's ip address.
Few Things to Note: If there are less 5 people on the server the game will automatically add bots. As of now I am the only one with admin rights, if this gets popular enough that stupid people come let me know and I will set up volunteer admins. Lightsabers/Light&Dark Force Powers only, no guns as of right now. Has JA Mod 1.6 installed as well short blerb below:
JA Mod 1.6: This mod adds a bunch of features not normally present in the base server installation from the disc. This allows the use of emotes, admin features, and small fixes that help the client enrich their experience while allowing the admins to better control the server. For a list of commands feel free to use /aminfo from the shift+` menu from within the server to see available emotes. For some emotes like /amsit, you will permanently be stuck in the animation pose until you type /amsit again.
If anyone has any questions let me know, if not see you on there to kick each other's ass!

fucking love this game, i still have ti somewhere... will come play in ur server. my fav SW game of all time! duel mode is awesome. Give me a double bladed sabre and force choke and i'm fine!

the single player of this game is well worth a play too, great story and the graphics were impressive for their time and still quite good today.
Also if you can still find it, download the goku skin to play MP with.... its awesome!

Twice now the client download timed out :/.

uuh Jedi Knight i loved how JK2 was more about control than JK3, because of no poke. FFA games were fun on that Bespin map. Force powers sucked thou, saber only was the most fun.

Yellow style is not OP in 1.04, pretty well balanced saber in 1.04.
I might actually re-install jk2 now :D God i had so much fun owning peeps on FY server and FoD and whatnot.

I still pray this day they make another one. Dunno the jedi knight outcast/academy games had really fun lightsaber combat that I loved unlike the force unleashed which just wasn't that great imo.
I still play this game time to time or I play the mod "movie battles" with my bro. SO much fun ^_^

Yeah, I remember one summer I got really into compettitive JK2, that is, I read all the guides I could, got online, and practiced my sabering. I was awesome! I could never get a hand of grip-flip-kick abuse, but had a blast nevertheless.
I just really loved how much it FELT like you were controlling your saber, you were really weilding. When seeing the Kinect release, I was really stoked that they would release a JK-like game where swinging around a handle lets you control a lightsaber even more!
In any case, this is a really great game, with excellent movement control possibilities and slick saber control. Y'know I'm REALLY considering DLing, logging on and playing. Serious, with TL people this would be great!

Amagad! This sounds great, will start downloading soon :D
bye bye my college aspiration

I've used both Chrome and IE to try but they both time out at about 555 mb. I actually have the disks lying around somewhere but they're probably all scratched up D:.
