No, I never said they'd be dominating a particular season. I said futuristically when they have a better understanding of the game or had as much time the ESF players had. Well, technically, they will never have as much time as eSF players...it is a moving goal post... No, 2 1/2 years is how much time they had. If Kespa players had 2 1/2 years then that would be more then enough. Why 2.5 years? There are huge shifts in the meta game. You don't have to re-learn all that. It is like saying that a lot BW players have had 5+ years of pro RTS experience so we shouldn't compare until players like Creator, Life, Maru also have 5 years of pro experience. Yeah but 2 1/2 year old builds weren't viable in brood war like they are in SC2. That's why I said what I said because those old builds can still be used and you can win with them. So you're saying that SC2 takes longer to learn than BW? But also BW is harder than SC2? That's because BW was already figured out and everything was mechanically harder in terms of doing everything manually. SC2 hasn't been figured out yet. What about HotS? That'll be everyone starting fresh. It comes out March 12th. Yeah, I said 1 year after hots. Why a whole year? Why not 1 month? ESF players were dominating foreigners right off the bat, it didn't take them a year. And most foreigners were playing the beta way before, while the ESF players mostly started with the actual release, and some of them even later than that like Life.
A whole year gives them time to understand all of the units and create builds revolving them and gives them ample time to experience a lot of different situations and know how to react to it. Keep in mind, a lot of those ESF players were failed BW players. And the top ESF players at the start were prior Kespa players who had the Kespa experience which gave them a clear edge over their opponents.

lol that's because they only had one competitor. "Themselves". Keep in mind those ESF players your referring too played BW probably exactly that long too. Also you can dominate the scene if you have a clear edge over your opponents. Which is what a lot of the ESF players had coming from BW.

Foreigners sucked at BW. Koreans were good at BW. They just took the knowledge they had from BW and implemented it into SC2. Doesn't matter that Foreigners started first on it, they lacked the fundamentals and mechanics to take advantage of them starting early. The gap isn't big now but it will be futuristically and you can see it widening as time goes on. Compare last GSL seasons SoulKey to the Soulkey this GSL. Big difference.

My arguments don't need weight they need "wait" as in just "wait and see". But like I've said, the only way you can understand where I'm coming from is if you played BW at a high level. If you haven't then you'll never understand where I'm coming from.

But I think you're underestimating the ESF players, maybe they would've become top kespa players if they kept playing BW, maybe the switch to SC2 gave them more motivation. Also you're ignoring the newer SC2 players like Parting, Life, Creator. Honestly a year from now I don't think the scene will be dominated by guys like Mvp, MC, Flash, or Jaedong, it'll be newer players like Life, maybe they'll join kespa teams because of the money, but they don't count as elephants.

And the top ESF players at the start were prior Kespa players who had the Kespa experience which gave them a clear edge over their opponents. So does 10 years. ESF didn't need excuses to dominate the scene, they just did it. lol that's because they only had one competitor. "Themselves". Keep in mind those ESF players your referring too played BW probably exactly that long too. Also you can dominate the scene if you have a clear edge over your opponents. Which is what a lot of the ESF players had coming from BW. After all these days, fangirl all over again Maybe his arguments would have more weight if they were in the Code S finals thread instead of the Code A Qualifiers thread lol. It's kinda sad to see the elephants constantly upset their hypers. Then there comes all the excuses, among which "SC2 is too easy" is always a favor one...what kind of excuse is that? Can someone with clear logic imagine that.
Ironically, Kespa actually have similar or even more players trying to shoot GSL than ESF+foreigners now, and most of them in code A and preliminary.
I won't doubt some of them will shoot to the toppest in HOTS, simply because the huge number of them, nothing to do with talent.

So does 10 years. Please stop living in a world where everyone lives in a "category".
That category shows me which side your "bias" for. Also, this is a video game not the "world" learn how to decipher the two. It's okay though. I respect your opinion.

Did the elephant thread get closed and PM functionality disabled? Let's talk about the actual qualifiers here.

My arguments don't need weight they need "wait" as in just "wait and see". But like I've said, the only way you can understand where I'm coming from is if you played BW at a high level. If you haven't then you'll never understand where I'm coming from. Sure.
Parting was a dishwasher in bw :X However, I'm happy for all who succeed ESF or Kespa.

Actualy, If you look at the current code S players, you will soon find that only few ESF players have kespa background. MKP, Nestea, MVP, Hyun, Taeja, parting, MC who else?

I named him because I thought he was a newer SC2 player, but I just checked liquipedia and he was on fou in 2010, I forgot he was on fou and fxo before he joined startale and really starting owning it up.

Beside MC MVP Nestea, these guys just in kespa for short period before switching to SCII. It's too short to judge whether they are good in SC1 or not, besides, its fairly hard for a trainee to climb up in kespa system, not like current SC2 system which everyone has immediate and even chance.
