Recently, it feels that gaps between foreigners and Koreans are closing. what gives you that impression? gap is gettting bigger lol. Just because foreigners win some series here and there doesn't mean it's getting smaller. Yea I feel the gap is just getting bigger. The last MLG's has been pretty much only Koreans in the top 16. Before there were atleast a few foreigners in top 16. Grubby is in really good shape atm and MC is far from his best so that result is not too weird. Grubby played great.
People always bring up MLG, despite the fact it consistently misses all of the top European players, bar Grubby and occasionally Stephano.

Amazing fucking tournament. So happy that they finally hosted an IEM in Singapore. I hope they continue to do so, its a dream come true, watching high level Starcraft 2 is my passion, and to have such an event in my home? Priceless.

Grubby have a good chance for his first title

I hope Zenio hears about TeaJa and HerO's success at DH and uses it as inspiration to keep fighting. Come one Zenio! I believe in you!!

You do realise that he started playing later than everyone else?

Grubby has been playing sc2 pretty much since launch and went full time sc2 not that long after.

Grubbys first appearence was nasl season 1 which was 12-04-11 while starcraft 2 came out 27-7-10, so he missed out 7 months and the beta (15-2-2010)..

He went full time in the beginning of 2011 right? Or am I starting to lose my memory? (A)

Didn't he also play quite a bit of WC3 during that time? So it's not like he was a guy who just happened to pick up RTS either. Admittedly most RTS games don't have the same ideas in terms of how you play the actual game itself but basic mechanics aren't bad.

really hope grubby can take this

All the kespa players were playing brood war. Not like they were out of practice when it came to RTS either..

Just watched the vods too. Grubby playing soooo well. I guess MC not bringing his cutie girlfriend to counter Cassandra was the biggest factor ^^
