The game with MC was so tense. U rmb when he won against Nerchio in WCS Europe to get to play in BWC, he was so happy as well

a bit strange that they're playing the last QF tomorrow, haha

Yeh it is really strange. I'm not sure if it benefits Grubby or not. He knows he will have to play a PvZ just the opponent is unknown. Whereas the opponent knows who he will face tomorrow if he wons the QF, but has to do a ZvZ first.

Haha it's kinda amazing to see a player like Grubby who won about everything in his pro gaming carreer already, still be as happy by beating an amazing opponent. The guy has an amazing pasion and true competitors mindset for gaming that's for sure. Grats to Grubby.

And yes the last quilifier tomorrow seems rather unfair for Grubby, he knows that he faces a zerg but not wich one, while both zergs know they will face Grubby if the beat the other. Oh well.

its unfortunate that grubby vs mc wasnt on the main stage as there was LoL finals. and spectators crowded around a screen just outside of the tournament area and also could not hear the cast. but still everyone in that small area cheered when grubby won.

Yeah pretty sad, I thought they'd save the 2nd half of quarter finals for tomorrow, but I guess they wanted to play this match out. Who knows what might have happened if they played tomorrow anyway!

Well they want to show every match on stream so some had to be played today in order to end the tourney at a reasonable time tomorrow

what gives you that impression? gap is gettting bigger lol.

Just because foreigners win some series here and there doesn't mean it's getting smaller.

Eh, I'm not sure when the convention is closing but there really aren't that many games tomorrow, and the day should be pretty short. Unless for some reason the convention wants to close much earlier, which they might since it's the last day, or the games go on to the last game for every set, I think we'll have a short day tomorrow!

Can't believe I missed this, but I'm so glad Grubby got through!! I'll certainly have to watch the vods.

This tourney is on at the worst time at night for me, but there's no way I can miss tonight either way.

GRUBBY!

Alright I'm rounding out this weekend in style by watching ALL THE STARCRAFTS

Even though Grubby will have an uphill battle against either of his zerg opponents.
I root for Euro Zergs, NA Protoss* and Korean Terrans. (Any North American who has beat a Korean Pro as Protoss counts as NA Toss)

Yea I feel the gap is just getting bigger. The last MLG's has been pretty much only Koreans in the top 16. Before there were atleast a few foreigners in top 16. Grubby is in really good shape atm and MC is far from his best so that result is not too weird. Grubby played great.
