Maybe you should do that, too, and see what's actually there. The last videos listed are the short promotional ones from two days ago. No Day 3 or 4 VODs yet. That is, unless they have fixed it for subscribers now? I did not subscribe yet so I cannot tell. Sorry about that. I was able to watch all the VODs last night after the games were played. I can't really tell right now since I'm at the office behind a firewall with streaming blocked. -_- Hope OGN gets their shit straight ASAP. This ain't the BW days of Jon747 and nevake anymore, when free-streaming 360p was accepted. OK, I take my apologies back... aren't the VODs just sitting here???? http://www.twitch.tv/ogn_star2/videos?page=1 Dude, aren't you reading the thread you're posting in?
It was said that the VODs have been made visible only today, and that they can only be watched if you subscribe ($19.99).

I'm huge Flash fan, but i won't pay so much to see him play SC2. I would thought that OGN will be willing to build their viewer base with free service first, but what do i know about marketing and promotions. SC2 is much more popular in Korea that i thought if they can chrge for watching the VODs...
Yes, you can watch vods without paying $20. Ofc, no moletrap and grubby though.

(This was at least BW OSL) Last season they changed it to Bo5 for all single-elimination games. I heard talk that they were going Bo7 for the finals now too? Yes, also they will re-introduce the 3rd/4th place match which was abandoned after the 2007 EVER Starleague. Dammit really? bo5 is so much better: http://www.teamliquid.net/blogs/viewblog.php?topic_id=353256

Well, with my amazing skills of clairvoyance I can safely tell you that you can view them on Chinese websites, I am however unsure about the legality of the whole thing because though some stations were given the right to rebroadcast GOM / OSL I'm not sure if the license carried over for this OSL.

I feel like the rug has been pulled out from under me. Especially when BW was teetering on the edge, but even before that, I'd have been happy to pay a reasonable sum for OSL season tickets. If that was the business model that could keep BW successful, so be it. But now they change the game and then ask me to pay to watch? Forget it, keep your VODs to yourself.
It's depressing when you find that after years of being a dedicated fan, they don't care about your viewership anymore because your viewership didn't pay, and it didn't pay because they never wanted it to. I'd have paid to see the OSL back when it was actually the OSL.
It was fun while it lasted though.
Edit: I mean I guess I could watch bootleg VODs, but that's not really the point. I wouldn't have watched bootleg BW VODs either.

$5 more than a GSL light ticket for a fraction of the production quality and content?
They're charging for the Korean VODs, too. OGN has guts

Correct me if I'm wrong but isnt it against Blizzards ToS to not show the matches for free?

cept thats like 2 in the morning. oh well. Not paying 20 bucks when so much is still free to watch.

20$ a fucking month? No thanks.. Make it 20$ per season then you've got a deal.

On September 06 2012 03:53 kamikami wrote: Well since there's no official information from OGN, would somebody explain me how this system work ?
From what I gather it will be :
- No free vods. - HD vods for 20 $ / season - Free (low quality) stream - HD stream for 20$ / season
Is it right ? 20$/month according to twitch subscription page.

Wow man what happened? For like ten years they've been broadcasting starcraft for free, and now all of a sudden we have to pay to watch sc2 ? This "esport" is getting more ridiculous every day.

For one, we all have to understand that Kespa switched with a reason like everyone else, the avarice of things. But OGN already have a stable source of income from those Reebok, Coca Cola, Pepsi, and 20 other commercials + league sponsors that I can't remember unlike GOM pretty much have to rely on their pay-per-view + additional fundings from Blizzard..
But hey can't blame them for wanting more moneys. They are, after all, a company. And much like Blizzard wanting to cater to the casual playerbase, Kespa wants a fatter pocket for themselves.

wtf i watched flash's last game as a VOD without a suscription iirc, did they just change it

Could someone please give a link to a non-paid vod with "parting vs flying end ceremony"?
