Clearly the end game is a decision on what movie a person should be watching on this, our Independence Day.

I would put Top Gun in the running since they prevail over the commie MiGs. Also they have that cute behind the back high-five in the beach volleyball scene.
Some good contenders here. I'll throw out some nominations that have done their best to spread the American Spirit across the globe and teach others about our wonderful, rich culture.

Lesson #3: American Presidents are not only the best Americans, but essentially super heroes.
In this case, I'm going to go with Platoon, because it showed, to an accurate (I believe) level, of the shitstorm that American soldiers went through in Vietnam. And that was quite the shitstorm.
I'll explain anyways. Mel gibson spends the movie shooting rifle rounds into the whites of those redcoat eyes. When he's not doing that he's probably being even more patriotic by murdering more brits with a fucking TOMAHAWK to save AMERICA
