I have a feeling that the players were just asked to 'dumb-down' the match to make it more accessible to people new to Starcraft. The protoss was David Kim, who's had accounts in grandmaster in the past, so I'm pretty sure that the mistakes in gameplay were just there for the sake of a more exciting shoutcast.
The point was to show off the new units, not to display high-level gameplay.

From a Protoss perspective:
1. Oracle still feels stupid. There is very little interaction to the harassment mechanic, there's no difference between good Oracle harass and bad Oracle harass - just like in the battle report, the guy just queues the Entomb and flies out. It's all the more puzzling because Protoss already has a flying harassment unit - the Pheonix - which is much more fun, and even has the same problem as the Oracle: not being very useful in actual fights. I suspect it won't be used much if it stays like this, unless they make Entomb ridiculously powerful. It's nice that it can provide detection, but Stargate as a whole still has no aoe, which seems even more necessary against Zerg, though might not be against mech.
2. Tempest feels like an overkill solution to Protoss problems with Broodlords (which overlap with Swarm Hosts now). In actual games (and not trololo Battle Reports), I suspect it's going to be a lategame specialist unit against "siege" armies like Broodlord/Infestor or Terran mech. In a general sense, it's just another thing to add to a deathball, which is boring as hell.
3. Mothership Core, I really like. I don't even care about the recall, and don't think it's gonna make it till release, but the static defense and energy recharge feel like a good way to give Protoss a defensive advantage without spawning tons of awful all-ins as a side-effect.
The Zerg stuff seems very powerful, and might finally allow for a nerf to Spawn Larvae. I doubt the game can function with their current economic advantages combined with the new units and upgrades. So, either the units get nerfed, or the production, and the latter would make for a better game. The Terran stuff feels like Blizzard wants to make mech the a-move deathball option, which sucks.

I'm a lot more excited than I was after this... I mean sure the terran stuff is still all unmicroable transformer mech rubbish but thats what you get for listening to artosis! Ultra charge looks feckin double cool, in fact all the zerg stuff looks good, abduct seems kinda bonkers but seems to be pretty good at breaking up a death ball which is definitely needed for the fun of the game. Chucking in changelings is much nicer than pooping them in for mid-late game, I always wanted parasite but that works. The protoss core abilities seem pretty rocking, hit and run raids with recall should make for good games. And the Oracle, dual role harrass support caster angle they've gone down, much better than the pure harrassment deal they started with. Tempest... isn't a carrier... damnit. Feels like they have some of the good broodwar style stuff from the preview, smaller groups of units and more spells going off all over the place. If they do something better with terran it could be pretty awesome. I hope TvT doesn't end up all mech, I get that the old timers want it to be just because its how it used to be, but its so boring to watch compared to the fun mix we have right now. Breaking up the protoss death ball will be for naught if its replaced by a terran one... In all, the extra abilities should make it way more fun, but it's going to be hellish to balance :/

People in the video mentioned that they are aware they aren't balanced. Also, every single unit that is showcased is put in a situation where it will be shown off to its pull potential. Ultralisk charge may kill 10 marines but if it's that close to a terran army full of marauders it'll evaporate without being cost-effective. The viper may be able to pull in colossi but could get one-shot by feedback. The viper can pull out a tank but it cost more than a tank, and there won't be an equal amount of tanks to vipers. Leave a handful of units at a base and you shut down the oracle harass the same way you can shut down any drop harass which would delay mining just as much + actually kill workers. So on and so on.
Ridiculous to whine about imbalance when the units are put in the situation they are meant to be in.

The idea is that by discussing balance at every step the game gets closer and closer to balance quicker. If we just go yeaah lets leave everything until we see the beta changes happen significantly slower

I was like lol toss has new units lol zerg has new units and then i saw terran has mine and i'm like yeah whatever hah even if they give BC's to other races they don't have a chance. It seems that Blizzard saw that nobody can beat the greatest terrans from BW so they give people another shot in SC2. Inb4 BoxeR,oov,xellos,NaDa,Flash or similar terrans dominate the scene haha. I hope with the new stuff other races give a bigger challange than BW.

If blizzard wanted to stay away from bw style mech from bw into sc2 so they added things like the immortal, chargelots, and blink stalkers. Now they wan't mech back in, but the siege tank won't be the backbone and there is no mech aa besides the thor which sucks vs air which is why they made the warhound in the first place. What are they trying to accomplish?
