EPTSo recently I came across an anime that peaked my interest, it's called Chrome Shelled Regios. This anime was fucking great! I usually watch exclusively anime dramas because I'm just that kind of guy, but I fell in love with this. Now not to say this wasn't filled with drama, because if I did it would be a dirty lie. This anime had a perfect balance of action and drama, and honestly at the end of it, I didn't really know who I wanted Layfon to end up with, I leaning more towards Felli, but if I was in that situation there'd be no way in hell I'd ever be able to decide. Any who, that's not what I made this blog to write about, what I want to talk about IS THE FUCKING WAY FUNIMATION ENDED THE FUCKING ANIME!!! Needless to say it pissed me off something fierce.
So basically, spoiler alert, Layfon saves Nina from a keeper of the heaven's blade, who's name escapes me. He does this by using his heaven's blade, which just flies through the air to help him, and just blasting the shit out of the other guy. After that Leerin shows up with a special blade made by...her father I think, I probably should know that seeing as I literally just finished the series a few minutes ago. Layfon proceeds to somehow fuse the two swords together into one sword of complete badassery. He then proceeds to kick a contaminoids ass and then they shoot a giant laser at it.....then it ends.....Leerin is taken back to Glendale, Layfon rights a very touching note to her, Felli kicks him in the shin for acting so "Lovey Dovey" with Leerin....and it ends....nothing else happens....NOTHING.....THE HELL!
The problem I have is that it sounds like Funimation won't be releasing another season, I believe the manga is still being written, but from what I've read Funimation is like "Screw it; we'll end it the anime there." That really pisses me off because even if I find a store in America that will sell the manga, or a site online, it most likely will be in Japanese, and all I can read is English, and like 20 words in German.
