To be honest, a bit disappointing. I haven't been able to keep up with the practice schedule I wanted to keep, mostly due to a lot of real life stuff going on - but I will do everything in my powers to change that from week 2 forward.
On the plus side, I managed to go through all the replays and VODs and I finally have a very decent idea of where the current metagame is and how I personally want to play. I have a lot of useful information, which helped me design my builds, some of them very standard, while others are a bit more unique. During week 2 of my practice, the main focus of my activities will be refining these builds. I have yet to find a stable way of playing macro oriented PvZ, but that seems to be a common problem (kcdc's thread anyone? :-) ).
During my games in week 1, I focused mainly on improving my understanding of PvP and getting my mechanics up to the level where I want them to be. Since the beginning of 2012 I have felt that my biggest weakness lies in lower APM than I want and very bad micro...Hopefully, that has improved a bit.
Since there was no real "theme" to the first week and I don't want to bore you with a pack of 50 PvPs, the first replay pack will be very generic, mostly consisting of ladder games. Here it is!

So as I said, week 2 will be all about refining builds. I would like to make the next replay pack a lot bigger, somewhere between 20 and 30 replays, where I will show all the builds that I prepared and their variations.
In other exciting news, I'm finally getting a mic after this weekend and my stream will get some new fancy graphics soon! I will try to stream more this week, I've been playing a lot of short sessions in between other activities and didn't feel it would be beneficial to stream those. However, that WILL change! The time has come :-)
Five weeks until Lancraft. A lot of work ahead of me. Wish me luck!
