I feel like any type of goals that I set forth are usually met with the same result. Like a New Years Resolution, my first blog posts were about going to platinum this season and playing a lot. A couple days before the season 5 lock I am now just starting to drain my bonus pool that I've gathered throughout the days of never logging on to Starcraft II.
Here I am with over a 200 bonus pool and am trying to get out of Gold before the season lock all because Blizzard says that the season is coming to an end. Why is it that when the deadline approaches we all take heed and work our butts off to get it done right before the deadline? It's weird, because I'm not like this with work or school. Well, mostly not like this with school. It's not like I'm not on my computer or playing video games for me to not just log on and play a lot of ladder games. I blame the NHL for being in season right now.
Here's to all of us trying to drain our bonus pool before the season lock and gaining that promotion, or evading the demotion, until season 6!

I procrastinate a little bit too much. Not necessarily with SC2 although my reason for not playing is more ladder fear than just wanting to stall everything out of boredom.
Gotta get myself out of the habit, after all, I got some insane marks at uni so far and I want to continue this trend.

When does the ladder lock ? Was an ETA or something released ?

It locks on the 7th and it's gonna be reset on the 14th. Check the battle.net site.

To be honest, school procrastination is there as well. I still get those grades though, just usually not on time :-p

Just drained my bonus pool of 150+ and went from 41st to 7th in my bracket. Boom goes the dynamite!
