I am fine with anything but that solution tbh - but majority vote counts I guess :,( Every little helps, and $150 is quite nice considering how much travel costs for the NA/KR players will be

After that, maybe arrange some shenanigans. There's bar down below right? How about a Karaoke competition (voted on by the bar denizens)? Team charades? Dance off? Bench press competition? (just give Geoff the money now). I suppose it sounds nice to spread it to everyone, but this is still a tournament and winning should matter. I'd like to see any and all money earned from actually winning or placing highly. If it were me, and i'm Twitch, and the money i gave was literally just handed out to everyone, well i could have just done that myself and wrote all the contestants cheques. edit: i like the show match idea. How about an impromptu pro league style team league thing? Split the players into 2 teams... i'm not even sure how many there are. 30 something? Ok those would be some big teams. Not sure how this would work. Fine, just give it to everyone. That's boring but i'm a commie at heart too.

Spread across Top16 is fine because all top 16 accomplish something (getting out of first group stage). Spread across top 8 is fine too. Creating extra content (showmatches, goofy 4v4s or FFAs) is also a good idea. But I really dont like the idea of just giving everyone 150$ in the hand, that sounds both boring and unfair to those who accomplished something. Cuz even the People who went 0-3 created amazing content by casting the other games?

1000$ for 3rd place finishers from the groups (125$ each) 1000$ prize pool for an in-house poker tournament (maybe 600$ for first, 250$ 2nd, 100$ 3rd, 50$ 4th?)

1) Would they even be able to show it? They already have two streams running constantly. Will they have time to do a show-match stream? And even if they do, will there be enough people to even cast it? It's awesome the players are willing to cast in the tournament but assuming they're willing to cast whatever you throw at them seems a bit rude considering they aren't getting paid, right? 2) How much would it suck to be knocked out of the tournament and then watch everyone else compete in show-matches for a piece of $5k and not get to participate because you aren't a fan favorite? If they're going to do show-matches I hope they include everyone instead of making it a pure community vote. The most popular players are probably the least likely to be hurting for money.
