I don't really get what you guys meant, but HiyA wasn't in any starleague, and was probably the second highest paid player in Oz. I wouldn't think any team would want a player with such a high required salary AND having borderline 50% win ratio. Khan has decent terrans inside, and I suppose they are cheap in terms of salaries too. I don't really see the need to get HiyA even if I was a manager of Khan, unless he accepts a salary drop which is unlikely as far as ego goes.

Coach Park should hire him. You know, the guy who turned Jaehoon's career around. Did you mean Pusan? Good Bye Anytime , Lucifer and other progamers and also zerg[kal]. zerg[kal] has great potential and now, he is retired too. and Ryo, thanks again for the updates.

Honestly, I think Zerg[kal] just got tired of waiting. I read some of the messages on his cyworld and it seems he may have decided on military service in Oct, before the draft. Not sure. As a trainee he was moved around to different teams like CJ and KT, then finally drafted by SKT only to be released last year before MBC finally took him in. Very tough.

I don't really see the need to get HiyA even if I was a manager of Khan, unless he accepts a salary drop which is unlikely as far as ego goes. HiyA was the second highest because Oz has like no other players. Here's the list from last year, some players (Leta, notably) got pay raises for 10-11. As for a borderline 50% win player, well... In 2008-2009 he was 33-27, 55%. In 2009-2010 he was 37-26, 58%. In 2010-2011 he was 27-29, 48%. However he started round 1 and 2 in a massive slump, going 2-12. If you look at his final 4 rounds, he was 25-17, or 59%. (Stats was at 59% this year [the entire thing, unlike HiyA] and doubled his salary to around 30% more than what HiyA's salary would be.) I'd say calling him a sub-50% player is a bit disingenuous. Sometimes players just slump, doesn't always reflect on their overall skill level (ie: JangBi.) I don't think HiyA's salary is unreasonable.

Stats thoroughly deserve his pay raise because he really helped KT to the Proleague championship, and he's pretty much the number 2 KT progamer. Could the fact that Leta is currently the captain of CJ contribute to his pay raise, since I don't think he played well during the 10-11 PL season? Things could be different if HiyA qualifies for OSL His salary isn't unreasonable, but it's high enough to put off the other teams from signing him up. At least we would have to wait for a sponsor for the KeSPA team to see how it goes from there.
