GL to SNSD seriously but I'm not sure, even Utada Hikaru couldn't make it, she's epic ^^
I wonder if she'll try again... I'd look forward to that. Her english language stuff is very very different, but still good.

That 30 sec teaser, sounds like garbage. As a mainstream music listener i don't see this song going to my playlist. Prodused by Teddy Riley lol. This guy was on top like 20 years ago?
Anyhow, as for SNSD, I think only American asians will buy their CDs... which is 4.8% of the total population which is quite abit. And again I wish them good luck. I know there are still a few westerners that like the asian culture in general.
At first, when I discovered SNSD, I was amazed with Gee and kept listening to it. Then when I heard their other songs, like Genie and RDR, I thought, wtf this is shit. However after listening to it a couple of times, coupled with watching their legs over and over again, it all became seriously catchy. Watching the videos was my entry into their other songs as well, and they were all fairly catchy and enjoyable.
However nowadays I simply feel disappointed since that god awful Bad Girl MV, and seriously am expecting this latest album to be a flop.
I can't say I care too much anymore, I pretty much only listen to their ballads nowadays. For anyone who hasn't checked it out, Taeyeon singing OSTs is seriously awesome. And I enjoy my occasional Yoona fantasies

That's nothing compared to the population of South Korea. And the South Korean portion of the Asian-American community is 1.5 million. No Kpop group is going to make an impact in the US at any point in the foreseeable future.
