The double upgrade is very cool, but feels vulnerable for a decent period of time until that 2-2 kicks in alive did a fast ghost timing attack, which i'd consider is the counter to double forge but with that godlike cannon + pre-split sentries he held it off... i'd imagine on a more wide open map he would've had a harder time holding that off.

Edit: Open season 3. I say this because I know how HongUn is treated in TL.net thanks to Artosis. Yes, HongUn doesn't do very well these days but he is one of the longest lasting code S players. (I think there are/were only 6~7 of them) and If anyone listens to Korean casters they know there are so many things that Protoss race owes to HongUn.

RANDOM opponent. That is TRUE skill. No preparation is where creativity comes into play and no gimmick timing shit.

He didn't beat MVP, just took a game off him. But yeah, pretty insane play today though i felt like it was because he was sort of an unknown quantity. His build is really unique compared to other protosses and the TSL terrans may not know about his playstyle, which is why they didn't know how to best play against it. Got to wait and see. Remember there used to be ST_squirtle, a protoss which ripped up the team league scene but then faded out into obscurity.
