Hey guys, this is my first ever blog on TL. So hi! =D
My name is LolitsPing (obviously) and I used to play Zerg as of 6 weeks ago. After being ridiculously inactive, here are some thoughts as I thought about the game during my inactive play time.
I was gone for 5 weeks to an engineering camp and I surprisingly(?) discovered that a fellow camper also played Starcraft. Unfortunately, we were unable to play a game due to my netbook being unable to support Starcraft (so much for letting cheap laptops be able to play it).
However, my desktop that ran Starcraft II ran into several problems before and during my camp, first with the power supply, then with the motherboard, that I realize that I might not be able to play Starcraft for quite a while.
And then, watching GSL, IPL, streams (herO's as a type this), makes me miss Starcraft even more...
Now, I feel like playing another race, Terran or Protoss, as I always disliked ZvZ, and playing the same macro style over and over, in addition to Zerg not really requiring any micro (I personally think its the 1a2a3a race)...
So now I'm thinking about changing my IGN as well, here are several thoughts
Enixius Dawn Fatality Joker Heart
LolitsPing gets annoying after a while...
Oh well, I kind of rambled but those are my thoughts...
Peace <3

Eh, I think you should pick a name that suits you, or one people have grown to know you as. My friend chose the name "LOLWUT" but changed it back to his original BW name eventually.

That is certainly a while to go without SC, especially if you're used to playing daily. Congrats on the engineering camp though, that will come in handy. I would wait to see how you feel when you come back for a while before you think about changing races. When you're away for a while it's really easy to think you want to change just because you feel a desire to play that race more than ever, but a lot of it is because you just want to play in general, so give it time.
As for a name change, I would probably stay away from the cliche ones such as "joker" "heart" or "fatality". Even "dawn" is pushing it in my opinion. Not that i have much room to talk as my name isn't really the coolest, (on TL or SC), but finding a good name is tough.

Yeah... it's interesting when I finally found a computer to play on. I really need to work on my mechanics (esp. not supply blocking myself). Although, I can't really micro since my computer starts lagging like crazy once I see a bunch of units on the field.

Yeah I've had experiences like that before, it can be so frustrating to deal with. I need to upgrade my CPU pretty badly.
