And they truely are. I can't understand why people start flaming/discussing because of this small text excerpt. Anyways It's great to see a team investing this heavily in SC2 and I really hope they stick to their shedule and work hard to archieve something big in the future. By the way I personally don't care about most of the announced media stuff, in my opinon the improvement of each one of these players is the most important factor about a teaming house.

Here you go buddy: http://steelseries.com/blog/press/steelseries-and-mousesports-announces-limited-edition-mouz-branded-qck Mouz: "mousesports belongs to one of the best and renowned eSport businesses worldwide..." But hey, don't let that stop you, keep on chugging on that EG hate train. Edit: Just to prove you wrong even more, I found another one: http://www.eizo.com/global/press/releases/htmls/fnatic.html Fnatic: "The Fnatic team is an ambitious and highly successful electronic sports organisation, which supports the world's greatest gamers."

Not really. I'm just saying 'world leader' in any context doesn't necessarily mean much.

But whatever, I don't know enough about differing economies to make valid points. You're probably right. The amusing part is that in Norway there aren't any minimum wages for most occupations, but unskilled wages usually start at around USD 23 with 4 weeks paid vacation. Generally you would pay around 28% tax on that and your employer would pay 13% additionally and we have 25% vat. A 1.5 liter bottle of Coca cola costs USD 3.50 and gallon of petrol costs USD 10, so basically everything is just expensive, except for electronics like PC's. The worst part is that it's mostly due to the Norwegian Krone going from about 9 NOK = 1 USD to 5.5 NOK = 1 USD. This again is due to the insanely high oil prices which Norway exports, so when the oil prices go up, Norways income increases... I just bought a small house (1200 sq feet) in a tiny city for around 448.000 USD, the same house in a more sentral part of norway would cost closer to 1 million USD... Did anyone say inflated house prices? (And there is no way to get out of debt if the housing marked crashes like in the USA, if the bank takes your house, you are still liable for any loan that isn't paid by that action...)

1. No strong management/coach at their team house. These guys have off and on already lived together. Is someone in the house actually going to hold them to a rigid practice schedule? Would they ever even consider forcing their players to put some set amount of time per week/day into practice as a condition of their salary? Who would enforce that, Anna lol? 2. Do they honestly think having Puma practice with them for 1-2 weeks before a big event will make a gigantic difference? It is 1-2 weeks not months and Puma is one player/match up. I'm not saying they won't improve from it; they will. But competing with the top koreans? No. 3. They are still using "practice time" to stream on NA ladder. This seems pretty worthless. If players in EG want to stream on NA ladder they should do that on their own time, not dedicated practice time. 4. No coach. I realize Incontrol wants to take the mantle of team coach but you simply cannot be a coach on a top team and a top player on it at the same time. Look at the Korean scene. Cella and theWind are coaches first players second. Incontrol left all his other commitments to be a player first. He cannot do that and be a great coach at the same time. 5. No intention for partnerships with korean teams. If EG.Alex made one thing clear, it is that he wants players on his team and is against partnerships like SK and Complexity did. Without a partnership with a korean team where A) puma can practice and B) they could potentially send players to train for periods of time, they have no top-tier practice environment. If everyone in the EG house was on the level of top koreans, you wouldn't need that. They are not even close, aside from Idra everyone on the team is a tier below. Apart from 1-2 weeks of practice with Puma before events how does Idra get better? Playing the joke that is NA ladder? Playing his team where everyone is a tier below him? TLDR: The EG house changes nothing, this is more hype for something that is meaningless. EG doesn't need a house, they need a different mentality and plan. Don't make a big deal out of getting a team house; get good results then say we got those results because of it. If you can't do that there is no point in making the announcement at all.

Fayth you are correct, I had the same thought and actully picked up an investment place in AZ. These places are selling for well below replacement cost, and at prices where market rent covers payments and taxes. Also interest rates are still <5% with 20% down. Though qualifying has become very difficult. Eventually the housing market will recover so there is money to be made. Buy low sell high.

Whoa whoa whoa there buddy... You're making a little too much sense there, getting a bunch of dudes together in a house is totally going to take them to the top, you'll see!!! They've got a ringer too, just you wait! E-SPORTS!!!!!!!!

Hopefully they make full use of this to really train well, but I'm skeptical about them actually doing so.

No matter where it is. Well... Probably an old, tiny appartment far away from anything "urban"... You would probably be better of buying a big "Camper" and live in it .
