The study you're mentioning is bias, so I'm not going to touch that. Depends on what you mean by bias. I don't think they were deliberately trying to mislead people. Instead by reporting what was interesting, or "newsworthy" they created an inaccurate perception of reality. Maybe it's an exception, but it's not that rare. To be clear I don't believe reading news will make you less informed. But I suspect the benefits are way overestimated. | ||
