Personally, I've lost faith in them ever since Final Fantasy 11 not being a proper game like the previous sagas(made online rpg) and the 12th one was a critical blow.

The preview of Final Fantasy 13 looks great but knowing how badly they made 12, my expectation of it is rather low.

Will Squarenix do a better job this time??

I think FF12 is actually one of the best FFs they ever made in terms of pure gameplay, but the story was one of the worst they ever wrote.

The only thing really outstanding about FF12 was the graphics. A lot of detail went into that shit. It was ok in some other areas but it wasn't mind blowing.

If the <whatever system FF13 is supposed to be on> fanboys don't want it anymore, fine. Their loss. I'm sure about 10x as many people will get it now.

I seem to recall another time this happened. FF7 anyone? Wasn't this chronicled as one of the best games ever?

LOL, I remember this guy made a video for Brawl as well. Good stuff.
(I also remember people thinking he was seriously that big of a nerd lololol)

I'm not a die hard FF fan, but I thought FF12's gameplay was pretty good, ending made me vomit repeatedly though.

I'm sure 13 will do better, just because it's on the next-gen consoles. Problem is, I don't have a PS3 or 360.

I'm weird, but I loved 10 and 12. I just loved them. Everyone else says they are not the best, but iono, I just didn't like 7 as much as 10. I thought 10 was so heart-moving and emotional.

The Final Fantasy series has gone downhill after seven. TheSpoonyOne on youtube did an entire video series on eight, and quite frankly none of the games after eight really did anything to try to bring new light to the party. All the series has been since the release of VII is them trying to remake VII just with another "I" tacked on the end, or if you're real classy an "X" added somewhere. And to be perfectly honest, VII was mainly trying to be VI except in 3D. The Final Fantasy series is one of those (groups of) games that no matter what the content of the game, people are so fanatical about it that it'll be purchased by the truckload.
