Free opts for a 12 Pylon in his natural and a manner Pylon in Kal's line as he builds a 12 Pylon as well. Kal tries to do a manner Pylon as well but fails and it doesn't trap anything. | ||

Free's Cybernetics Core is up, and Kal's is going up as well. Scouting Probes are still alive, and Free's Core finishes quite a bit before Kal's does. Free throws up a second Gateway. | ||

Kal expands to his safe min-only above his ramp, but is still only running off of one gate. He has 4 Zealots and a Dragoon blocking his ramp, compared to Free's 3 Dragoons and 2 Zealots. Free puts up his Robotics Facility near his gates and moves out with his goons and zeals. | ||

Observatory is going up for Kal. Free double expands to his gas nat underneath the ramp as well. Robotics Support going up for Kal and Free. | ||

A Scarab comes out and kills Free's Reaver, but Kal had to trade his entire standing army to do the damage that he did. The gas nat for Free is completely up, and Kal's putting his up as well. | ||

Kal's gas nat is up and he maynards his Probes over. Kal reloads his Shuttle with more Reavers and brings his Gateway count up to 5. The forces meet in the middle. Kal comes out ahead by one Reaver, which incidentally is a poor tradeoff given the size of the armies before hand. Free moves a handful of Dragoons in and picks off the Shuttle-less Reaver of Kal. | ||
