Bunny, Trust and rare It seems CJ gave up already

Could see EG-TL going 0-3 down then tieing it up 3-3.

The best CJ can finish is 21-21. SKT would only need to go 2-4 in their last six to beat them, and Samsung could also beat a 6-0 CJ with a 4-2. It looks highly unlikely they'll be able to make it into the fourth spot, even if they were able to reel off six straight. Their map score is also 20 below SKT, so realistically, the only chance CJ Entus has to make the playoffs is if they win all six remaining games AND SKT goes 1-5/0-6.
SKT might be struggling, but it's hard to see them not winning at least two remaining matches. Especially seeing that Woongjin might clinch 1st place and send a flat line-up out against them.

CJ 4-0 More realistically:
Bunny < JYP Trust < Revival EffOrt > Oz rare > Jaedong (FPL) herO > Taeja Hydra < HerO
EffOrt > HerO

Also, EG-TL's magic number for elimination is 1.
The next EG-TL loss or SKT win will officially eliminate them from the playoffs. Luckily for them, if T8 loses to Stars tonight, they will NOT be the first team eliminated officially from the season, that award going to Team 8.

If T8 loses today and EG-TL wins, EG-TL will be in the 7th for the first time in like...3 rounds :/

Being 7th (and realistically having a chance to be 6th) is pretty respectable. I know a lot of people consider this season a failure because of the unrealistic expectations (when it was announced, people thought they would do great; I predicted they would struggle), but I think they did fairly well for their first time.

Until when is teh EG TL partnership?

We also have to remember that, if this goes on for more than another week or so, other teams can also KO EG-TL. So... miracle, anyone?

I didnt see them as a top team but I didnt see them faltering as a bottom feeder for most of the season either. I would have expected a 4th-5th seed, ousted by the likes of SKT, KT and Samsung, while hanging around with WJS (seriously..didnt know they'd be this good) and CJ.
but yea...if they manage to get 6th, I'd call the season a success.

It was Coach Park's plan all along to be in this situation. Time for a miracle.
No, really, I am not an EG-TL fanboy or whatever, but it would be pretty awesome ><

I think a lot of people overestimated the presence of Taeja as super ace. But then he got injured and just doesn't look the same. A lot of fans weren't familiar with PL format either which rewards depth, matchup strengths, and coaching (map picks and builds) which I felt EGTL lacked. I still think this team has potential and I hope they perform well this round and continue to participate.

By the way, why aren't Incontrol and Huk playing?

Really hope for a good Oz game. They can be very entertaining. Also Taeja not being complete shit would be nice. But you can´t have everything.
