On the match, great play by Jaedong, was superior in every way.

Don't know how people were thinking that shutting down Mutas completely will open up more possibilities in this match-up. They went 0-3 first and was in deadlast by losing to T8 and Airforce Ace. How can you not remember that. I remember they did a ceremony of players holding monitors saying from X place to first when they got to first place.

You said they climbed their way up to a PO spot so I assumed you're saying they were dead last right before PO aka R3, especially since we were first talking about EG-TL's situation right now.

Yey... On June 10 2013 21:14 gobbledydook wrote: Hardly true at all. In this game it came down to one engagement because JD was going all-in: either he won there or lost there. Yey... You're quite wrong, roach runbys are prevalent in the roach hydra vs roach hydra matchup. One very important deciding factor is who harasses better/defends better as the point of the runbys is to pull your enemy out of position. I can't imagine how you can say ZvZ roach hydra is a-move. edit: im a fail quoter, i wanted to quote the guy who said roach vs roach is all down to 1 engagement. I wasn't saying your opinion is false; of course opinions are never true or false, only good or bad.

Well Roach/Hydra/Infestor can be very intense as well with runbys and the players trying to get the better positioning, but i am personally just sick of it since WoL. Muta wars were somewhat refreshing for me cause i liked the ling/bling wars and runbys and not seeing units jsut constantly puking at each other

I wasn't saying your opinion is false; of course opinions are never true or false, only good or bad. I am that guy that said Roach wars come to one engagement. :D Roach run-bys depends on the map, and it isn't always one engagement, but it is a lot of the times. It isn't really a-move, there is micro involved, but that micro is kind of silly if you look at other types of micro required for some other units, Banelings and Lings just for example. I am not saying that Roaches and Hydras are bad, they aren't, but last patch when Spores were doing 30 damage against Biological actually had more diversity. We saw Mutas most of the time, but players were switching after that to Roaches/Infestors/Hydras/Swarm Hosts. I just think that 45 damage Spore change was overreaction to Mutas vs. Mutas, because Mutas should be used as harassment units, they are pretty terrible in direct engagement. If you can deflect their harassment with 2 Spores, they are not worth it anymore and there will be hardly any games where we will see Mutas at all.
