The Darkden Cup Winter Edition will take place on Saturday, January the 19th for the Meltdown barcraft in Paris. It will feature players like Adel Scott, Dayshi, MarineLord, AureS, NeOAnGeL, Eeel.
I've reskinned the map pool. Maps are available on the European server under the name DDCup. Games will be streamed on Saturday on Millenium TV between 19 and 23 o' clock.

I love the idea of reskinning like this. It would be cool if that happened more often.
I don't know about having them all be snow though... Seems like you'd get tired of it real quick.
The lighting concerns me, though. Seems a bit extreme, especially with the different colored lights. I don't mind upping the saturation a bit, but I think it's too much here.
I think back to back is still a bit rough around the edges, like the mineral and gas placements and some other details, but it'll be interesting to see some games on it.
Back 2 Back finally making it's big break! Fuck the haters amirite?? Lol. I'm worried about the lighting on some of the maps, from the pictures it looks a little too saturated. Otherwise, nice work!

The tournament organizers have published the maps. I didn't know they put them in hots too. I can't check because I don't have hots. In wol there were already snow versions for several maps so maybe the one you tried weren't the one I made.
I hope this kind of reskins encourage tournaments to use community mappers. Or maybe Proleague will start a fashion about using crazy maps in tournaments.
Since the situation with the maps is pretty stale now. It would be fun if tournaments would at least retexture maps to make it more refreshing for the viewers. Nice work, the maps look very nice.
