Q: You won twice today
A: My condition today wasn't very good, so I doubted my ability to play well during the start of the 5th set. Luckily, I won the match and I recovered my condition in the process, culminating in my win during the ace match.
Q: Why isn't your condition good?
A: The amount of practice suddenly increased and I did not manage to get enough sleep. I woke up feeling very tired this morning (laughs). However, it's natural to have to put in more effort during the play-offs (laughs).
Q: How did you feel when you heard that you'd be sent for the ace match?
A: To be frank, I was very worried that I wouldn't play well. Stork won in a dominating fashion in the 1st set, and given that the ace match was so critical, I felt a lot of unease. Even if I had practiced a lot, I did not feel confident.
Q: The 5th set was a back-and-forth struggle.
A: When I saw that Reality was moving his forces towards 1 o'clock, I knew that I would win if I had held his push. After that, my arbiter usage secured the victory.
Q. Sending Stats out twice must have been a tough decision.
A. In day two of CJ vs KT, Stats lost to some daebak mines. He wasn't sent out on day three but the team still managed to win which lifted his spirits. (T/N doesn't say anything else but I assume the coach meant to say he had confidence in Stats despite what happened.) [Thanks to fold for translating this!]
Q: Are you feeling confident for Day 2?
A: I won twice today, so I'm feeling a lot of momentum (laughs). I think the matches are going to be exciting tomorrow. My condition wasn't good enough today, but I still managed to perform (laughs). I want to reduce my practice hours today to have a good sleep.
Q: Both the coaches and players seemed pretty tired.
A: Actually, we only increased the practice hours by 1hour everyday, but it was nonetheless very tiring for us. Strangely though, the playoffs seem to have its own magic - we recover quickly as long as we win.
Q: Any last words?
A: P7GAB's (Wooki) prayer for me to play well before the ace match worked, which made me very glad. I also want to thank my fans, who have been supporting me all along, as well as the coaching team. Also, I want to thank Mind and Barracks for helping me practice.

Q: How are you feeling after winning in day 1?
A: Of course, winning makes me very happy. However, we revealed many of our strategies, which makes me feel frustrated. Nonetheless, the players played well today and we won in the end, which makes me very glad.
Q: The opponents picked Neo Outlier with the intention of not letting Flash play the ace match
A: On the contrary, we made use of that. They could not be 100% certain that Flash wouldn't be sent out, so they could not eliminate the possibility of vT. However, we were absolutely sure that they would send a protoss, which was advantageous to us.
Q: What was the most dangerous moment today?
A: Action lost a match he shouldn't have. If we had lost today, Action would have felt a lot of burden, which may have affected his subsequent performance. Thankfully we won and I told Action after that not to repeat his mistake. I believe he will play better the next match.
Q: You look tired.
A: The players and I feel that last season was really tiring, and in contrast, this season's schedule wasn't as rough so it was better. However, it isn't by much (laughs). Since we won today, we will definitely perk up and play well for the next match.
Q: What kind of attitude will you be bringing to the next match?
A: We always seem to be impatient. We often win the first match and then rush to finish the second, which had caused us to lose before. We don't want to be impatient any more for the subsequent days, and instead we want to be more relaxed. I think this will produce good results.
Q: Hoejja has won 4 matches so far in the playoffs.
A: It is really the case that the more experienced the player is, the more clutch he is during the critical moments. This must be the said "strong heart" (laughs) [T/N: Literal translation. He is referring to their mental fortitude.] His performance during the regular season wasn't very good, but I sent him out during the playoffs precisely because of that. Now that he has caught fire during the playoffs, I hope that he will continue to perform well from now onwards.
Q: Last words?
A: I didn't expect them to send 2 zergs. Nevertheless, the players managed well and we took the win. We will give our best effort tomorrow to get a good result.
