Q: The opponents picked Neo Outlier with the intention of not letting Flash play the ace match A: On the contrary, we made use of that. They could not be 100% certain that Flash wouldn't be sent out, so they could not eliminate the possibility of vT. However, we were absolutely sure that they would send a protoss, which was advantageous to us. Brilliant move by coach lee to turn a disadvantage into an advantage. Stats only had to prepare for PvP whereas Stork had to prepare for both PvP and PvT.

And PvZ. KT's Zerg line is strongest at ZvP and although I don't think Action or Crazy-Hydra would be considered clutch enough for an ace set, Hoejja is a possibility. He hasn't done all that well against Protoss lately, but if the map is Outlier, then Hoejja would be okay. He has a 4-1 record there and has looked pretty solid. Khan's only players with more than 2 games played on Outlier are Stork and Shine. Jangbi and Roro both played 2 games (both 1-1). Brave and Grape both 1. Shine is not a viable ace match choice for Khan right now. Only Stork and Jangbi, and between the two it was a virtual guarantee that it would be Stork and an absolute guarantee of Protoss.

His game agaist Leta was for sure the best ZvT in his whole career. And he improved his ZvZ by a huge margin as well (apparently thanks to Crazy-hydra). Thanks for the interviews! Hoejja had very tense ZvT against Bogus one year ago. I watched it live and it was awesome match. watch from 1:17:42

My chinese isn't good enough to translate but I'm sure you can. ^^ Edit: my attempt at translation. Q. Sending Stats out twice must have been a tough decision. A. In day two of CJ vs KT, Stats lost to some daebak mines. He wasn't sent out on day three but the team still managed to win which lifted his spirits. (T/N doesn't say anything else but I assume the coach meant to say he had confidence in Stats despite what happened.) Thanks for pointing it out! I'll add your translation to the OP ![]()
