Your winners, Samsung KHAN~
Samsung KHAN’s Heo Young Moo ( JangBi) “I hope Starleague opens soon”.
Samsung KHAN defeated STX SouL for a 11 win 6 loss record, knocking down KT Rolster and returned to 1st place again. In this match, JangBi played against Kim Sung Hyun ( Last) and put him into a 4 game losing streak. JangBi who looked down a long time, had strong desires to play more.
Q. Thoughts on your win?
JangBi – I’m happy that my win helped our team return to 1st place. Now that we lead the standings, I hope we can keep it until the end of the season.
Q. How did you feel when you knew you were playing Last?
JangBi – Just so-so. Who my opponent was not important, but it’s been a while since I played in a broadcast setting so I worried if my game sense may have dropped. So I concentrated on the game a lot.
Q. If there was dangerous point in the game?
JangBi – When I tried scouting Last with my first observer I saw a 3rd command center, and I got furious. Really I felt rage. So when I loaded my shuttle with zealots and tried breaking through, I thought it was going to be blocked. If I didn’t break in I would have lost.
Q. You have not played much recently, is there a reason?
JangBi – I was inside the entry but since the team has been doing so well there was no chance for me. If not, we rolled over 0-3 and they won easily. I have bad luck with entries. I really want to play but could not be sent, not many people would know this feeling (laugh).
Q. Song Byung Goo ( Stork) is playing continuously and competing for most wins, what do you feel when you see that.
JangBi – I’m sort of jealous (laugh). Stork is good so that’s understandable. He really is a player that you can watch and learn from.
Q. Samsung KHAN’s protoss line has the most wins.
JangBi – Our protoss line is all doing well but if there was a downside, it’s Yu Byung Joon ( Grape). When he practices he’s really good, but it seems he could not show it in broadcasted games. I hope he comes back alive soon. If he does, I think we can aim for the best win rate as well.
Q. Are you confident in keeping 1st place?
JangBi – I do not know about other teams but I’m always confident. In KT Rolster’s remaining matches, I hope they lose at least one match (laugh).
Q. The most difficult team to play for Khan?
JangBi – In the coach’s views it to be Woongjin Stars just a little. But the players have no fear against any team.
Q. Your next match is against Air Force ACE. Do you think you will play?
JangBi – I really want to play (laugh). Just because ACE is last place, I’ve never been careless when playing against them. ACE also seemed to have gotten more solid so I think it will become a difficult match. But if I play, I will do my best to win.
Q. The season’s almost over. Comparing to past seasons, it has been shortened, thoughts?
JangBi – For Khan, we did not achieve a good record for the one year league. We lose our momentum usually so we have to finish things up early.
Q. Any last words.
JangBi – I hope Starleague opens up soon. Since there’s only Proleague, something feels missing. To play in individual league and Proleague together, I miss riding the momentum in those days. I believe all Progamers would agree with me.

also LOL, Jangbi gets so angered by greedy terrans :D
Thanks for translating!

They get the winner of the most significant or entertaining game. And the last game wasn't all that worthy of an interview. Oh, and THANKS FOR THE TRANSLATION!

Funny how JangBi expressed extreme disapproval and rage at Last's greedy play.

Well you look at Reality and TurN's styles, and you realize Jangbi has to never get to practice against greedy Ts except Sharp who is bad.

Actually, I recall both Reality and Turn using quick 3rds to counter protoss 12Nex(slow observers) on certain maps. And there have been many terrans that opt for fast 3rd on Jade.
I think he's more pissed because the build kind of dares the protoss to attack rather than playing a normal game.

Its really a psychological effect. Coaches and managers usually dictates what builds to use during a game. They are usually the safest, most standard way of playing. But these guys who train SC for more or less their entire lifetime have witnessed so many different circumstances and know the exact way to react. However, once in the booth, everything is business. You are being professional by following your higher up's instructions and is afraid of messing up by doing their own deviations. Once a progamer's starts prioritizing emotions over simply doing their job, that is when they show their personalities and truly unleash their inner potential.

damn i been missing all proleague this year ;_; I really need to catch up, missing some good games.

I'm sensing a theme with KHAN players getting really angry at cheesy/greedy tech paths, and then hulk smashing their opponents into the ground...

I disagree with the part where builds decided by coaches are safe and standard (especially this season, the number of "safe and standard" build has dropped drastically, and i don't think that's because players are becoming more rebellious).. Or that coaches are the ones to decide the build.. Sure they give their opinion, and often players give a lot of weightage to these (coaches opinion), but im pretty sure those are just advice, players are the one who decide which build they will use in a game.
