So I'm wondering what these penalty points are in Proleague, and what their function is. From what I've been able to tell with no understanding of Korean, you earn penalties for doing things such as exiting a game with a phrase other than gg. Other than that, I have no idea how they function, if they negatively impact ranking or cause some sort of consequence if too many are earned.
From the English KeSPA site: Proleague Penalty Points Calculation Standards: 2 [Cautions] = 1 [Warning] = 1 Penalty Point
According to KeSPA, so far in 11-12, there are 2 warnings, one happening on 11/29 and one on 12/17.
The first happens in this game between Crazy-Hydra and Killer. notice how Killer gg's at the end.
The second is for a reason I can't seem to figure out. Google translate leads me to believe it is something due to a delay of game, but I can't be sure.
The second warning is for SKT, for being 25mins late for the match on 17th Dec. I guess Kespa requires teams to report at the match venue by a certain time and SKT was late.
their response afterwards was pretty cool though, they made fun of themselves in an event allstar match by having leta parody the situation acting all pissed and stuff felt happy that they admitted they fucked up pretty badly like that

so they knew it was stupid and corrected it by changing the rule a bit
