Woah. That is older beyond what I've ever heard of, at least. Lol.

Not implying that Ruby or anyone involved in those events in the past were actually matchfixing but it's not really a far-fetched thought.
Hell, Savior fixed matches and he was good and had money compared to the current lower A-teamers.
......what? Are you high?
Like I said, 'JUST WHAT IF?' :D
responses are hostile because match-fixing is a delicate subject, and any allegations or hints of allegations are serious business D:
Or because he's saying that disqualifying Leta for a 'pp' or GoRush for an 'a' is even possibly ok because match fixers would use the least subtle and most publicized communication channels possible - one that is also clearly recorded. Of course that begs the question how they knew about the signals in the first place (one would assume they were able to send this message out without the use of national television), and then say it's not a far-fetched idea. Yeah, he might be high.

Happens in all the show matches like the ones before PL finals. Wish they'd have more show matches/tournaments, haven't had a good one in a long time.

I think boxer was one of the main reasons chatting got taken out
I really like how strict they are about (no) chat, and would like such level of strictness to be reinforced in all serious tournaments, in SC2 as well.

I'll go one better, this is the game that got chatting taken out:
Apparently, Junitoss (who had nerve issues) got freaked out when boxer said "my base is too small T_T" and scouted everywhere for proxies etc and eventually self destructed.

I remember this too, best one I saw was back when Stork was good (?!), I can't remember who it was but the player, I think it was T, was winning and in the chat went "Mom, I'm beating Stork!!!" and everyone in the audience and the casters freaked out. Best part was, if my memory serves me right, that the game wasn't entirely over so there was still a vague chance of a come back - it was a really ballsy move but it worked out and the player won the game, such things used to add at least some personality to the more crazy players.
Edit: Wow pretty much everything I wrote was wrong, lol. I found the VOD, it's Sea vs Stork in the '08 All Stars Games, in which chatting was allowed, so not really that old. Oh and the game really was over as well. To add insult to injury, there wasn't that much of a ruckus when he typed it either. Oh, memory, why must you be so much better than the reality? Features young Artosis at 20:58, and the phrase at 07:19

i like junitoss' 15% winrate. guy was the biggest dud of broodwar imo. should have just stayed as a practice partner.
why must chatting be taken out just because of the weak minded? T_T

Junitoss seems pretty good compared to the true failure of BW. The biggest dud of Broodwar will always be PokJu.
Watch the VOD of his final proleague game, if you dare.

I was going to ask if Boxer was the one leading the charge to get rid of talking because I couldn't imagine Boxer bm'ing. But I see it was more the mind games he played. Man, you got to love Boxer's creativity in using his available tools.
