I don't know how other people feel about this, but when I play Terran, it always seems as if there aren't many spells I can use that are still viable in higher level games.
With Zerg, you have burrow tactics, fungal growth, contaminate, etc. that are all viably strategies.
With Protoss, it's even more evident, as well placed forcefields can lead to the masses of TL screaming about imbalance. Add on top of that storm and whatever other spells that Protoss may have.
With Terran, it seems as if EMP is like the only skill that can actually be used. Sure, there are other spells such as Heat Seeker Missle or 250mm Strike Cannon. But in all honesty, those are all terrible spells that no one ever uses. All Terrans do these days are make marauders and lol.
There's a pretty simple solution to all of Terran's problems.
Bring back the lockdown.

Do you not include Stimpack or Siege Mode as a spell?
I can't see how you can include Burrow as a spell if they aren't.

QXC has being showing how amazing snipe is against units like infestors and Brood Lords in TvZ which is kinda cool, Don't forget we have PDD which pretty much shuts Stalkers down for a while (or vikings in TvT if you can spare the gas) which I find pretty useful.
Its less a matter of how many we have but where they are located, eg. Battlecruisers are t3, Ghosts are reasonably expensive, Thors are thors (thats a reason if I want it to be) and the Raven has 3 spells all in all which are all cool but mostly niche.

Lockdown would be so op with current ghosts and smart cast. Probably best to just make hunter seeker missile more interesting and useful

I think that with EMP, raven's spells, stimpack all game long, tanks which need siege and all sort of micro you need to provide during a game I would be desperate if I had to make even more spells. I would even prefer if they add "spells" to other races, like remove the auto charge and add a button for it or things like that. But only my personal opinion^^

Stim, Concussive Shell, Healing ability from the medivac, EMP, (cloak), (siege mode), PDD, seeker missile

All those have been seen in high level matches.
So i'd disagree with your point.

The topic of adding new spells to the game is always an interesting one but no I don't think Terran is lacking with regards to spells relative to the other races. If anything Zerg is the race most lacking in spellcasters, but then again the infestor is the most versatile and arguably the most powerful spellcaster in the game at the moment.

burrow has to be the same as siege mode, stim pack can also be considered a spell and a huge one too since it makes your army almost 50% more effective.
you also got cloak for banshees & ghosts, snipe, emp (nukes are so gimmicky its meh).
and the best of all: the HEALBUS. Heal is huge. Combined with drop it makes bio so much more cost efficient than it is without it.
also PDD!!! Give me a break this is almost a dark swarm there!

Also, medivac healing. Terran has some very good "spells" - stim, healing, EMP, PDD - but they aren't concentrated on a single spellcaster unit (in the same way that GS and FF are for the Protoss). Maybe Terran is lacking in spellcasters (though I'd say that both the ghost and raven have good spells), but Terran players certainly aren't lacking in good spells in general.
