I wanted it to be a heavy macro based map with a long rush distance in order to demonstrate the power of the map to balance the game. The main base has a in-base natural and a nearby and easily defensible 3rd base which can also serve as a natural if your in-base natural gets blocked. For the 4th base you have a choice of of either a base above your 2ed natural, or the gold on the path toward you enemy. There is also and expansion on the way into your opponents back door overlooked by the land-connected island base. There is a high ground area between all the out of base expansions which in important to keep control of in order to protect your expos.
I hope that people will give this map a chance even though it doesn't have the razle dazle of some of the other maps. I believe it makes up for that with its original and strategic qualities.
