This is a narrated video covering many of the units and detailing some of the design and thought processes behind them for a gametype conversion I released around two years ago, called Armageddon Onslaught. I've made several posts on TL about it in the past, including ones posting various videos I created with demonstrating some of the units. However, this video covers around 70% of the units in the game in a single presentation.
It's a video I've been meaning to create for quite some time. I was going to have a portion of the video detail actual gameplay (and not just unit demos) but because BW is hardlocking my computer, and because I didn't want the video to be too long, I opted to leave that kind of footage to the existing videos I posted a long time ago.
So, if you're just interested in seeing Starcraft do things you've never seen before, or if you're familiar with modding at all, this should be something new for you.
I apologize for my mangled speech. It becomes harder and harder to make narrations like this, especially with the fits I get and my difficulty talking.
Interested in this topic, or perhaps the tools/methods I used to create works like this one? I posted a massive thread on TL some time ago, and my blogs tend to orient around custom content production.
Amazing presentation sir and you can see all the hardwork you put into the mod itself its astounding. I watched all three videos and will be trying out your mod. This would have been amazing in SC2 but, yeah Blizzard has turned its backs on its fans and only cares about profits.
I feel really sorry for you, the rant in the last part is both a demonstration of love for this mod and a proof that Activision-Blizzard is not the Blizzard we all knew and loved.

I feel like everything I've been saying about Blizzard/sc2 since beta showed up is a non-stop rant, really. I don't have much that is good to say about them... the engine is very outdated and their way of thinking is very outdated.
I just saw all the videos. Wow this stuff is amazing. 'Never knew stuff like this could be done. Sucks to hear that SC2 is bad for modding. Good luck to you in your future endeavors!

They confuse maps with mods, which are very different environmentally. The editor has considerable power but none of it can be applied to the same environment (global, effecting every map at once) that AO takes place on.
For AO this is key. What I showed is the test map; simply by running the mod it (temporarily) patches the game's memory, and the changes take place on every map. Luna, Python, ect... You can't do this in sc2, and they will ban you for attempting to do so through any means.
Hey I played this once a couple of years ago. Had no friends so had to play alone. Thought it was cool, but would be better if played with some friends or people. Anyone wanna get a game together?
