[GSL] ZeNEX “Kyrix” Han Joon “Satisfied having Code S”
[FOMOS Kim Ji Mhan Reporter] Journey to continue his Progamer’s life
28th, Kyrix is stretching out after beating a hard fought game against oGs “Ensare” Kim Sang Cheol (2:1) at Shin Jung Dong GomTv Studio, Sony Erricsson’s Starcraft 2 Open Season 2 in round of 16 who is now moving onto round of 8.
Now we ask Kyrix some questions
Q: What are your thoughts about winning?
Today, I really thought I was going to lose, but unbelievably, I ended up winning the game and clinching Code S. Now, I don’t have to worry about being disqualified (next GSL?)
Q: You haven’t received any big attention like others(fruitdealer). Have you thought that you were going this far?
No, I never thought I’d make it this far. I thought I’d go as far as round of 16 at best.
Q:Your Opponent made it to round of 4 in GSL Season 1. Were you nervous going into this match?
To tell you the truth, I didn’t prepare my game well. I wasn’t sure how I was going to play in round of 16.I thought to myself If I did manage to make round of 8, I am pretty sure that I'd lose in 2:0.
I couldn’t really interpret the question but Kyrix said he applied the Baneling Bust build that FruitDealer used before.
Q:What were your thoughts in 2nd set?
Before the game started, I wasn't confident enough on winning the game even during the matches, but I'm not sure how I won that game. Same goes to 3rd match; I didn’t really know how I stopped his attacks.
Q: Do you feel any greedy in round of 8? Because after that, all progamers will cut down to 4.
No I don’t feel greedy at all. I want to play with ease.
Q:Your next opponent is Lee Jung Hoon EllenPage or Shin Sang Ho “SangHo”. (I hope I got the names right)
I think I can go up against EllenPage, but I don’t like playing against Protoss. I like playing against Terran.
Q:How do you want to play in round 8?
I want to show an interesting game and have an aggressive game.
Q: Now that you have code S, you can play SC2 and head into next gsl 2011 with ease. How do you feel about that?
In the beginning, I’ve thought of becoming a progamer. But now,I'm not sure and I haven’t decided on what to do next year.
Q:Any last words?
