This is what I know, The two guys who are deaf were in the Clothing store XXI and apparently they were shopping, Staff must have seen them do something to suspect them of stealing, but that doesn't have any support or facts. Before I started filming. The Big Black dude in Jeans who mighta been a store detective jumps and tackles the large hispanic deaf guy. from there I remembered my new phone and turned on the camera,
There was who looked to be the manager of XXI that said to turn off the camera because they didn't want to get exposed for harassing and dealing with a situation that turned sour.
From there, you get to see the turn of events and then in the aftermath, the sorting out of exactly what happen. From what I saw that you guys can't, the deaf guy in the white shirt was apparently assuring the store with receipts for what he was carrying.
If you guy are better than I at figuring this out or have the facts then PM me and I'll post it in the Description here below. Also if this was a whole misunderstanding, then those deaf people have a case and someone needs to help them. And if you are the ones who were in this situation, then contact a lawyer and have them look at this video. It's proof positive that the Black guy did not know how to restrain you, More over, he was nearly choking you to death by the purplish color you had on your face.
Here is some info about the store. I have no info about any of the people involved, so good luck.

Don't know how many of your saw this, but I just ran across it and was utterly disgusted. Who the hell do these wannabe cops think they are choking a person like that? I seriously hope this store sued to hell for this and I seriously hope those thugs get arrested.
Wow that was disgusting. The guy getting choked was obviously tapping out, and the mall cop just kept trying to choke him. They weren't fighting back and as a martal artist (or, heck, as a person with common sense), I know that there are a million and one way to restrain someone without turning them until their face turns purple.
And it should have been clear that the guys getting restrained didn't understand what was going on (being deaf means you can't hear the store alarm), and yet... Ugh. Idiots...
wtf was that chubby black kid with a screeching voice at 2:46?? was that a voice box? frigging scary. and at the end he just stood in front of the store for a while.
there are 100 fucking people around and no one is fucking helping the guy that is getting strangled, thats more like wtf to me but all of it is bol shit fire fire fire these guys and sue sue sue
Since when does shoplifting suddenly turn into the NFL, thats just plain assault and I have no idea why noone there phoned the police. Being a hired security gaurd (afaik) doesn't allow you to pursue vigilante justice against a non hostile target.

You can't really blame the people. They see two guards attacking two random guys and they have no idea what's going on. What do you expect them to do?
And also, it's a very common effect when a crowd witnesses something. Everyone expects someone else than him/herself to intervene. Are you really sure you would do something to help him rather than just standing there watching?
As for the guards, I hope they get fired at least.
It seems several people have contacted various law enforcement agencies and media outlets in regard to the incident. I wasn't present, but rather happened to run across the YouTube video. I felt that it might help to spread it and give it some more exposure to make sure that they don't get away with quietly sweeping this incident under the rug. This is gross misconduct on the part of the employees involved and at very LEAST they should be fired if not arrested themselves for assault...

yeah i fixed it now, didn't realize it until later ^^;
The fact that the guys were deaf is a tricky issue. They didn't hear the store alarm but... what would you think if you were security and people were ignoring you when you told them to come back in after the alarm went off?
While I agree the way in which events transpired needs to be carefully evaluated... like usual everyone is too quick to place blame and call for the heads of the security guards rather than investigate further exactly what happened and why.
