KeSPA opens a branch in Pusan

This will be KeSPA's third office, with the other two located in Seoul and Kwangju.
KeSPA's Pusan branch will supervise a tournament to decide the amateurs that will represent Pusan in the 2nd National Amateur eSports tournament in early August. They will also supervise the Pusan eSports Festival. There are also plans to have preliminaries for semi-pro gamers.

Jaedong hit his 300th win by beating great when playing against Samsung Khan. He is the second player to do so (first player being NaDa).
Jaedong, after the match, said "My fans told me that if I had won today, it would be my 300th win". "Because I'm not the first person to reach 300 wins, I don't feel anything special". "I'll try even harder, so I can become the first person to reach 400 wins".

The Starcraft Progamer Draft Evaluation matches will take place over two periods, with the first evaluations taking place on the 17th and 18th, and the second evaluations taking place on the 31st and the 1st.
It'll take place using a best out of three group league, and each player plays from 21 to 24 games. Up to 55 players with a high win rate will be given rights to take place int he draft. The maps are Grand Line SE, Polaris Rhapsody, and Fighting Spirit.
