- How does it feel to beat Jaedong?
▲ I lost to Jaedong once, and I remember that was when I was so nervous that I couldn't play with my actual ability. So I waited for an opportunity to take my revenge, and I'm glad because I was able to take my revenge today.
- You played a long match
▲ Matchpoint isn't a map where you can automatically win by using 9 Spawning Pool Zergling Speed when your opponent does twelve hatch. I wanted to do as much damage as possible in the beginning, but I didn't get to do as much damage as I had expected. To be honest, after the midgame I was in a trance and played the game instinctively so I don't remember the match very well. But I had an advantage and I should have led with this advantage to end the game quickly, but after seeing Jaedong just catching up I felt a sense of awe and thought that he was really good. In the end when he wasn't moving out even though he didn't have an expansion, I still couldn't be certain of my victory to the end because he may have had tricks up his sleeve.
- It was an unusual match with Queens and Defilers rampaging
▲ This kind of situation rarely arose during practice. But even during practice, I wanted to use Queens. But my opponent second Zergling scouted it, so I was disappointed that I lost the Queen without having it do anything. I like these kinds of skirmishes for the late game so I led the game with confidence.
- You said you wanted to show off your management. I think you succeeded!
▲ While I'm satisfied because there was a lot of management, I want to show off my management in non-mirror matchups.
- You and your team both passed 2 and is on a 3 game winning streak.
▲ Because on my last interview I referred to a three game winning streak, I had expected something regarding that. I'm glad that I was able to meet that expectation and since this is the first time Airforce is on a three game winning streak since it's creation, so I'm also glad that I think this is a positive shock towards Airforce Ace improving.
- On the other hand, KT has confirmed their victory over the regular season. How do you think?
▲ I'm really happy. Last time, I did beat Violet which led to our victory over KT, and I felt kinda sorry because from KT's perspective it was a really important game. But now I'm able to throw away that emotion so I'm really proud of the players that came after me.
- Your next match is STX
▲ We are expecting a tough battle because they are a strong team. But since we beat KT, we are also thinking we have to beat STX, and if I'm given the opportunity I want to continue setting my goals and meeting them.
- You need one more win to meet the 10 win goal.
▲ We let our guard down before and fell before meeting our goals. If we keep up our momentum, it'd be easily achievable but we need to play hard without letting our guard down.
- Your World Cup Score prediction came true, and became quite the topic of conversation.
▲ I was really amused. I didn't even think about it, but it came true and became a topic of conversation. While it is also a coincidence, in the Uruguay match, there was a goal opportunity in the 22nd minute of the second half. Lee Chung Yong really scored at the 22nd minute so everyone who was watching with me was yelling. While I was glad that we got a goal, but I think I was even more excited because I was really amused it went in on the 22nd minute.I think these kind of coincidences generate momentum for me, and something to feel good about.
- In the recent All Star Matches, you started as first place. Your popularity seems to be increasing as time goes on, what do you think?
▲ Popularity is something you get as an object of respect from fans who are saying "I'm really that player's fan", but I don't think my popularity is anything like that. I'm not implying it's bad. I'm really thankful that people are giving me attention, and I feel responsibility for that and it also became motivation to do even better.
- Do you have anything to say?
▲ I want to thank everyone who has helped me practice today, and I want to somehow give back to the fans who always cheer and send love to the old gamers. My generation is definitely old, and some of the people who came after me are also considered old now, and we'll do our best to become an identity that gives hope even if we aren't the best players. I also want to thank the Major General of the Airforce for always cheering for us.

How do you feel about winning?
We already had multiple opportunities to score 3 consecutive wins. This was a goal that our team really wanted to achieve and I'm glad that I was able to be a part of it.
You used an exciting lurker-ling strategy.
It's a build that's been around for a while but wasn't shown much on TV.
RuBy recommended it strongly and I expected
HiyA to go 8rax FE. The basic foundations were created by Ruby and I just polished it.
It must have felt good when your strategy worked.
It's a very risky strategy but Hiya played as predicted and I was sure I could finish him. I resolved to go in with no regrets so I was able to win comfortably.
New recruits are coming.
Personally it doesn't affect me that much. I think they'll be a big help to the team. I have high hopes since they are good players.
You reach your goal of 10 wins if you beat STX in your next match.
Their Terran line is strong so for a Zerg player like me, it's not bad. We must beat them to reach 10 wins so I will practice extra hard.
Any last words?
Actually, it was my mother's birthday yesterday. I really wanted to win today and give and interview and am super happy that I am able to. A few days ago, some dude (don't know how to translate this guy's title) wished me to win twice in a day. I said my skills weren't yet good enough and he told me to win 3-1 then. It's amazing how that worked out.
I also want to thank the amateurs and FBH who helped me practice and Ruby as well for recommending me this strat.

Your thoughts on finally winning after losing 3 times in a row?
I felt bad for losing all those times and am somewhat relieved now.
You reached 99 wins.
I got worried about leaving Ace before reaching 100 wins after my 6-loss streak. It's a lot later than what I had initially hoped, but I want to reach 100 wins in the 3 games i have left.
How was your match today?
I thought it was going well in the beginning but I accidentally pressed the stop key and lost my corsairs and researched Zealot speed and storm waaaaay too late. I thought I was gonna lose but thankfully the gap between our builds was too great. Strangely, whenever I play with Killer I play crappy games, where I'm always attacking and Killer's just defending. I predicted that I would get to play Killer so I think I was ahead on that level.
Your victory destroyed Oz's chances of advancing to the playoffs.
I am in Airforce Ace now and just like how I did my best for Oz back then, I think I should work hardest for Ace right now. It does kind of suck that I destroyed the hopes of my old team.
It must have been hard to be on a losing streak.
This happened in the past too where during summer my play suffered. I practiced hard but I think I managed myself too poorly. I'm eating well now and keeping myself in good condition now which is why I think I was able to win.
Your resolves for the remaining games?
For Casey, Reach, and myself, this could be the last proleague games on Airforce Ace so I want to leave a good lasting impression. I really want to see Casy win a game in these last few games. And more than anything else, I want to reach 10 wins for Airforce Ace.
Anything else you want to say?
I was webcamming with some dude (same guy as above) and I told him that if I won this match, it would be my 99th win. He promised me he'd bring flowers to all 3 remaining sets for me. Personally, I'd like to reach 100 wins on the first batch of flowers. I'd like to say I'm always greatful and will work hard.
