I didn't know anything about MikOeL, but I guess I'll have to take note after beating Arew. Looks like pretty even series all around.
I'm watching replays for random matches... writing reviews for the games I do watch. ***
Summary of Game 1 between mouz.GhosTa and RoX.Marwin: (Spoilers) + Show Spoiler +Game 1 is played on Destination. Marwin spawns at 12, while GhosTa spawns at 6. Both players go for two factory openings. GhosTa goes for vultures with mines, while Marwin randomly builds pure goliaths. These walz through GhosTa's minefield somehow and with the help of a wraith force his larger army back. Both take their naturals at the same time, and both drive around the back of the natural and sets up tanks to snipe the other's workers. GhosTa's attempt is cleaned up quickly, while Marwin's effort lasts significantly longer, and forces GhosTa to waste a lot of units clearing it out. Mawin has siezed upon the delay to expand to the 10 o'clock plateau expansion. GhosTa again tries to put pressure on Marwin with vultures, but Marwin is now firmly ahead in the dropship war, and he kills of an abortive GhosTa attack in the center. Marwin then sets up outside and behind GhosTa's natural again, and expands to the 2 o'clock. By the time GhosTa cleans up the tanks hemming in his natural he is 2 bases and over 40 supply down. Marwin moves around with dropships and finally lands a game ending four-ship tank/goliath drop on GhosTa's factories. GhosTa gg's. mouz.GhosTa 0 - RoX.Marwin 1 Summary of Game 2: + Show Spoiler +Game 2 is on Fighting Spirit. GhosTa spawns at the bottom left (7:30) and Marwin at the bottom right (4:30). Both open with nearly identical builds from the first game, with GhosTa favoring a vulture/tank combination, and Marwin building a lot of goliaths along with tanks. GhosTa is quicker to the punch however, and sets up a loose contain at Marwin's bridge. Marwin attempts to move around it, but GhosTa takes the initiative to move into a much stronger position and Marwin moves back. Both take their naturals, while GhosTa adds a third factory and Marwin adds a starport. GhosTa does not reinforce his contain in time, and Marwin smashes it at the bridge and pushes out to hold a more central position. He then takes the 3 o'clock expansion, and begins to add factories, while adding a control tower to his starport. With a tank advantage in the center, Marwin attempts to break GhosTa's tank line. Good placement of mines forces Marwin into a retreat, and he his hit from behind by a force of four vultures which lay mines among the fleeing tanks, killing them all. GhosTa siezes upon this decisive victory and lays siege to Marwin's natural, forcing it to lift. Vultures also deny the 3 o'clock. Marwin desperately uses his dropship to land a tank and goliaths behind GhosTa's mineral line. GhosTa kills this off, then meets a last ditch reinforcement from Marwin. Marwin gg's. mouz.GhosTa 1 - RoX.Marwin 1 Summary of Game 3: + Show Spoiler +Game 3 is on Andromeda. GhosTa spawns at the top right (1:30) and Marwin spawns at the bottom right (4:30). Both players once again put out two factories, and GhosTa builds a vulture and a tank, while Marwin gets a few vultures, and runs them into GhosTa's base, with some success with harassment. GhosTa takes a much earlier expo, defending with two tanks and a minefield. Marwin pushes out with a motley crew of goliaths and vultures. Crucially, Marwin's barracks was not sent directly to GhosTa's base, so he 1a's into GhosTa's minefield and loses almost his entire force. GhosTa pushes with tanks to Marwin's front and sets up a strong contain, while building two more factories and a starport at home. Marwin, still on two factories and with a starport building is unprepared to defend GhosTa's first drop which sets up above his natural. Marwin eventually clears it out, but is immediately re-dropped by three dropships near his factories and covering his ramp. After losing most of his forces, Marwin gg's. mouz.GhosTa 2 - RoX.Marwin 1 Review: + Show Spoiler +Pretty simple and uninteresting series. I felt like I could play either of these players. Of course, I couldn't, but there wasn't really any kind of insane micro or macro on display here.

Summary of Game 1 between Avi-Love v. BW-datoby (Spoilers) (Recommended - Very good game!) + Show Spoiler +Game 1 is on Tornado. datoby spawns at 10, and Avi spawns at 4. datoby plays the standard forge FE, and Avi overpools. Having not drone scouted, Avi guesses datoby's position incorrectly, and his six initial lings do no damage, and come home to kill datoby's scout. Avi expands, and gets a fast hydra den. He hides his two-hatch hydra rush well, and datoby only sees it as it snakes around the map. He cannon whores, and finishes one cannon JUST in time to clean out Avi's supplementary zerglings, and prevent total disaster. Avi kills off the forge, but leaves datoby's only gateway in the wall with very little health, before retreating. datoby has been killing Avi's overlords while the hydras were away, and continues very effective harass as Avi retreats. Avi expands and datoby moves out with a few zealots and a dark templar. The zealots are forced to retreat by a mixed force of Avi, and the dt is killed while attacking Avi's expansion at 2:30. Avi tech switches to mutalisks, as datoby expands and builds his protoss ball of death. Avi's templar sniping is extremely effective, however, as datoby moves across the map (storming his army once), so much so that datoby has no templars upon arriving near Avi's natural. Avi then strikes with mass hydras, and decisively pushes datoby's army back. However, datoby saves much of his goon force, and has secured his third, putting him even on bases with Avi. With no mutalisks to kill off templar, Avi's desperate push is rolled by storm/goons just outside datoby's third. Avi "fgg's". Really great game. Avi-Love 0 - BW-datoby 1 Summary of Game 2 (Recommended again) + Show Spoiler +Game 2 is on Destination. datoby spawns at 12, while Avi spawns at 6. Both players open with standard builds, datoby with a forge FE (and excellent building timing) and Avi with an overpool -> three hatch spire, five hatch hydra build. Avi produces a lot of zerglings and runs in to datoby's natural, and exploits a hole in his defense, sniping the assimilatior, and a few zealots with it. This weakens datoby's first zealot/archon push which meets excellent simcities at Avi's third and natural. datoby takes his third despite pressure from Avi, and both players settle into a macro game. datoby takes out Avi's fourth at 9:30, but does not force Avi's simcities. Avi has meanwhile teched straight to hive, and instead massed zerglings. Avi's mass zergling/defiler attacks on datoby's army force it back, and repeated attacks from ultra/ling forces whittle it down. datoby regains some measure of control and is able to expand to the 3:30, and attacks at Avi's rebuilt 9:30 and his 5, but manages to only take down the 9:30, and is unable to hold that area. Avi now pressures increasingly smaller groups of zealots, dragoons, and templars, never letting datoby mass his forces convincingly. An attack that kills datoby's expansion at 3:30, followed by a hard push at datoby's third are too much for the protoss army to withstand, and datoby gg's. Avi-Love 1 - BW-datoby 1 Summary of Game 3 + Show Spoiler +(Another highly recommended game) Game 3 is on Fighting Spirit. datoby spawns in the bottom left (7:30) and Avi spawns in the top right at (1:30). Both players opt for the same builds they used in Game 2. datoby has no luck hunting corsairs, but Avi is forced to defend with his lings when datoby pushes at his third at 4 (natural of the bottom right expo) with a dragoon heavy army. Fantastic storms wipe out Avi's lings, and datoby kills a hatchery and hydra den before retreating. Avi however has teched straight to lair (really EffOrt-inspired play from Avi these last two games) and has gone ultra-first. datoby masses up again, and takes his third (6) comfortably. He tries to force Avi's third once again, but a stunning two pronged defense with lings and ultralisks strips the zealots from the protoss army and forces the dragoons into retreat. datoby takes his fourth (9) and gets reavers to take Avi's ultra heavy army. datoby is unable to attack again until swarm comes out, and his army is bled dry in skirmishes around the map. datoby pulls off a highly effective storm drop at the bottom left main and later at the bottom left natural, but both times his shuttles are scourged. (Avi expands there, and at 3.) datoby aims to expand at the top left natural, but mass lings shut that down, and Avi instead takes it. Mass ultras aided by swarm force the ramp of datoby's 6 o'clock and bring it down, as datoby cannot reinforce up the ramp on his side. Avi, feeling bolder strikes with a huge amount of ultras under swarm at datoby's army in the center. In what was surely the battle of the series, mass archons and reavers repell the ultralisks twice. datoby moves back to take out Avi's expansion at the top right natural, which he does easily, but his forced up the main ramp by an absurd amount of ultralisks. Avi tries to force the ramp, but datoby has it sealed off with a ton of archons and reavers for support. When datoby tries to escape however, Avi eliminates datoby's last defenders. Avi then hits datoby's 6 o'clock, breaks it, and datoby gg's. Avi-Love 2 - BW-datoby 1 Review: + Show Spoiler +WATCH THIS SERIES NOW! AMAZING GAMES!
