WCG Korean Qualifiers Ro16 Day 4 Winner (Z)Kwanro:
"I'm very excited about my Ro8 match"

- You defeated (T)Leta 2-0
▲ Since I have MSL finals and other players have vacation, I think that I lack concentration in WCG unlike other players, but I am practicing hard because I don't want to lose this opportunity. I'm thinking to myself that I'm in the advantage because I have other matches.

- Your game went well today
▲ My game went as I wanted today. I went into the match thinking "let's win in any way possible." I think I did well because I focused on the game.

- Your game versus (Z)Jaedong will be played before the MSL finals
▲ I am excited about it. Whether I win or lose, I think it will be great help for me in the finals.*

- The WCG and MSL finals are on the same day
▲ I wish they could change it if I make it to the finals. However, since I have a tough opponent to overcome in the Ro8, I don't think I need to worry about it right now.

- The players from Blizzcon came back today, don't you want to play in a different country too?
▲ I want to go but it's not like I can go just because I want to. If I keep doing my job, I think the chance will come eventually.

- Any last words
▲ I want to thank (T)910 for helping me practice. I got friendly with him while preparing for the last MSL. He helped me a lot.

+ Show Spoiler [Original Article] +

WCG Korean Qualifiers Ro16 Day 4 Winner (T)Flash:
"I think the Ro8 match is going to be very difficult."

- You defeated (Z)EffOrt 2:0
▲ I met a tough opponent, but I won. However, there's one more tough opponent so I will try hard to beat him too.

- Since you had a tough opponent, did you practice a lot
▲ I couldn't prepare too much.** There were other matches. What I did today is what I wanted to show about my TvZ. When I lost in both MSL and OSL, I didn't lose the games I went standard. I was disappointed by that, and I think I showed today that I can beat any Zerg as long as I don't get damaged in the early game.

- You showed a very one sided game in the 2nd set
▲ I think Destination is good for Terrans. Even in practice, I almost never lost when I went mechanic. I am confident in that map. It's very hard for Zergs.

- You'll face (P)Bisu in Ro8
▲ I'm at a disadvantage in both terms of time and maps.*** However, I won't give up and prepare a lot. It will be very hard to win. I didn't have many TvP's lately and I've lost some sense in the matchup. I will practice to bring back my TvP senses.

- Do you have any desires to be a Korean representative
▲ Every player has some desires. That goes same for me. I'm trying extra hard this time. I want to win quickly and win the gold medal.

+ Show Spoiler [Original Article] +

* Damn right, everyone wants to practice ZvZ with JD

** Every player says the same thing.

*** I wonder what Bisu has to say about this

So apparently the maps are hard PvT and TvP.
Interesting answers, thanks.

Thanks for the translations. WCG was such a sick tourney with a sick line up from the ro16. The ro8 looks amazing. I also think I have to side with Flash on judging map imbalance as Bisu complains about the maps nearly all the time. Gj Flash on showing that you have the best late game TvZ.

Go Flash! I'm so happy to see him rape good Zergs again.

Looking both at race statistics and the players' records on each map, Destination strongly favors Bisu, ROTK favors Flash, and HBR probably favors Bisu. On balance, Bisu seems slightly favored.

Bisu is undefeated in PvT on both Destination and HBR. On the other hand he won only one game on ROTK. I'm not entirely sure what was he complaining about, even if the maps are hard for PvT (which I'm not sure is the case) he is pretty damn good at them.

He's overrated, especially in BoX play.

WCG is turning out to be the tournament with the best line-ups, it's been pretty good watching it so far and there are some quality matches coming up.

Thanks for the translation.

It will be very hard to win. I didn't have many TvP's lately and I've lost some sense in the matchup. I will practice to bring back my TvP senses.

Wow, he's right. He hasn't played a Protoss player since 18 games ago. Hope he can get some good TvP practice to make the series a close and exciting match.
