As for the second seed, it's hard to say. Fnatic have been off the radar for a bit, but somehow have the ability to pull off shenanigans sometimes. The thing is, as I mentioned earlier, they're not just up against Startale for the second seed. They're up against Startale, and everyone else Startale plans with (most likely Xenics, since Startale helped Xenics against CLG). If Fnatic haven't been training on the Korea server and learning the Korean "meta" (while I dislike this word, there is a noticable difference with how Korean teams play compared to EU/NA) they are probably going to be in for a big shock.

Yup. Blaze is their B team while Frost is the A team.

Where can i find Korea Server Rank List?

Korean are serious about LoL, many pro-houses will take up LoL team. Some already did now are setting up B team as well. I can see them surpass NA/EU within a year or so.

Well there has been talk in the past about a possible TSM/CLG house merger and was supposedly offered by IGN. CLG was not ready to do something like that at the moment and even though they are in a gaming house now it's still just a temporary house and different from having a two team house.
Kind of curious how the B team and A team system works in MiG. Do they compete to decide which is the A team or trade players? In starcraft players could be demoted to B team based on performance, but for two LoL groups on the same team it would just be switching things around.

There are many reasons a true CLG gaming house will never happen.... but they are behind closed doors.

Both A and B team will participate in many event as possible but ofc the priority is for A team to attend the most. Then they will switch members around if that is needed, but as a team game that is not an easy thing to do. With 2 teams there are many advantages, they can practice all day long and nobody knows what they are up to which will bring surprise stats in tourney. It also boost the competive level within the team, motivate the player. I really don't like the stream all day long practice of western team. You don't gain shit when playing soloQ.

To be honest I think that all the gaming house stuff is not working atm for any of the western teams. Neither in SC2 or LoL. EG hasn't really improved in performance for example. They are still strong by the virtue of having strong players, but they are not suddenly dominating the western scene. The same goes for TSM. They have a gaming house and they are not improving significantly over teams without one. I don't know why they work better in Korea. Maybe it is because the general attitude is better when it comes to hard practice. Or maybe you need strong coaches that motivate and drive the players to improve. It's obvious though that sticking 5 people into the same house does not make them better players.

Practice alone doesn't improve play. You have to be practicing the right way in order to actually improve. I assume western teams don't really change the way they practice when they go into these gaming houses were as Koreans have the practice structure in place so it has a noticeable impact on their play.

Its definitely the lack of experiance with teamhouses/coaches.
TSM for example while they have a teamhouse there pcs are as far as ive been able to tell not even in the same room. Why have a teamhouse when your not going to put all 5 pcs next to eachother so you can talk while your playing. Add to that most of the time just spend in solo Q and something that can only be described as a relaxed training schedule and any improvement will be minimal.
Additionaly putting a team in one house also gives a greater chance of personalities clashing. Teams like CLG and TSM have some big ego players and without a coach to manage it you can have a good chance of bad influences.

Eh that might true of the TSM a month ago, but they have a coach now and a new mind set that is specifically meant to address this problem. Coach to mediate arguments and they are supposedly setting aside time to theory craft as a group. TSM does play solo Q but a lot less than they used to and they supposedly get even more serious now that a major tournament is coming up by not streaming all together in preparation for the big tournament (so you wouldn't see any TSM streams until after IPL except for a few solo Q games).
I also don't really get why having the PCs all in the same room matters when they have team speak.

If Team OP doesn't win today, I'll be highly disappointed

I also don't really get why having the PCs all in the same room matters when they have team speak. Thats true with TSM, they are getting better now as they change their approach and actually taking feedback from the community.
But I don't agree with you on the Teamspeak thing. While TS/Vent/Skype can let you hear and say as you are next to each other but its still doesn't have the human effect on it. With 5 PCs in the same room you have several advantages. First of all, you will have a setup that similar to big offline tourney which I think helps you somehow if you are used to it. Than I think you have a better team chemistry when sitting next to each other. You can watch/discuss shits as a group right after you done playing some games etc.

Wow, it's in 1 hour? Did it get changed? Did something happen with daylight saving time? I was certain it was starting now .-.
Either way, predictio... wait, I have never heard of any of these teams >_< I guess e-mfire was decent? Oh and team OP actually seems familiar.
So perhaps OP and e-mfire to face in the finals?

I feel like TSM's coach is more like a common sense coach. But TSM has been struggling lately and dyrus' flaws as a player are being brought to light now that he scrims a lot, vs good teams.

Streams up, Team OP v Super Star first up
Team OP has Cornsalad and a Lilac :O

Will emfire and NEB take place at the same time as Team OP vs Superstar? :s e: actually nvm, something tells me they do not lol
