So yeah we're kind of crappy, we know that, but we're certainly hugely improved from where we were a year ago and if JonnyRecco and Ziktomini can find themselves a well established team who'll send them to the UK tournaments hopefully they show the same improvement Bling did (and then don't blow it all being an esports celebrity instead of practicing).
In terms of nations I'd say we've pushed ourselves ahead of most countries in Europe except the big hitters of Sweden, France, Germany, Ukraine and Poland. We're probably better than Spain, Italy and Norway and fast closing the gap on Russia.
You know I would even put you ahead of France tbh. Just because Stephano is french for some reason doesn't make us a good Starcraft 2 nation
Nah, Stephano, ToD, lalush, SarenS and Adelscott will put you above the UK.
Just for clarity, I'd like to explain the double elimination system a little, having worked with this (womens baseball orinetated) format for more than a dozen years.
This match is actually, technically the lower bracket FINAL. The winner of it is the lower bracket "champion" if you like.
The Upper bracket final then takes place, but the loser doesn't technically drop to the lower bracket, they instead have a "play off" in what is traditionally called the Consolation final (NOT consolidation final as I have seen), which is attended by the upper bracket final loser and the lower bracket winner, the loser of which finishes 3rd.

The final match is the grand final obviously.
In SC2 though the convention has been to call the last game before the grand final, between 2 players who have both lost 1 series the looser bracket final.

Thanks for the information, clarification, whatever.
Also, good job keeping the crowd excited, even if the crowd is rather diminutive.

Whos from Russia? I can't think of anyone... Maybe I'm stupid.
Russia has Happy, LiveZerg, Titan, Bratok, Slivko and Pomi so they're definitely ahead of us right now.
