I don't even know what a Zerg would do against that. Seems like the best build to do on a big macro map like Whirlwind.

Yeah but you don't have to build 12 roaches. If he does 2 warpins, then lings to buy time for roaches is best?
Getting an overlord close to pylon to allow you to spot amount of zealots is also effective. He'll probably not even warp in stalkers to kill it.

Scouting does not work either. It delays tech, but not by really serious time. And you are not forced to commit.

Best counter is to not take a third, hold with a few sunkens and tech faster. Hydras go really well vs a slow tech toss

And I like JD. it's also maru's best, and maru has looked pretty damn solid in it. I'd say the walls he bashed his head into looked more solid Well, HerO and Dear at least. I can't really think of any other good protoss players that Maru's played. Duckdeok I guess. D: dear's got pretty solid walls but hero's can be meh unless he flukes a good run
Isn't Maru's TvP his best matchup? HerO's been so out of form but he still beat Maru. Wow, way to go HerO!
