The game against Parting where you went for mutas against the sentry immortal all in has 3 main errors that cost you the game: 1. I really think you should have gone straight for his probe line with the mutas. The reason being that with the ling/spines holding, the attack lasts a long time regardless of the result, and in that time if he doesn't have the economy to reinforce, you will eventually kill his army and still be on 2 base econ. The protoss' own forcefields at the very least are slowing down the attack. In addition to this you can slowly increase your muta count without losing the initial ones in the counter attack which will be a last-ditch defence effort that - after the spines have done their job - should be enough to kill the remainder of the protoss army. 2. the roach warren+evo chamber were placed in a bad position for this strat. The spine wall could have been much more effective (almost twice as much attacking surface area) if those 2 buildings weren't in the way, and the lings would have had a better attack path. 3. Too many drones; 65 drones would have been enough since after 20 spines you still have 45 drones (2 base efficient mining). Would have given you 10 more lings which could have been used to try take out his pylon and at the same time draw some of his army back. After the BWC everyone has seen you're improvement, keep it up you've got skill! | ||
