Totally disagree in my opinion... I think its good for the time they know each other or better the time they cast together. So I dont get your point, tbh.

Sometimes you dominate the co-caster a bit but overall i think you do really nice casts, love the duo

Awesome Stream as always like the casting combo, sometimes a little bit subjective because u cheer a little bit to much for the Player u like, but thats ur style.I like the overall Package so keep the great work up man, dont change it, mori gj too!

I cannot understand any of FaRa's arguments tbh.
i think you guys do a good job and its overall very harmonic. Since mori casts together with khaldor, i even turned from a little mori "hater" to a supporter - hes not like the usual nonsense german silver-caster we usually see. In between games it might sometimes be like a student&teacher relationship between mori and khaldor, but its meant in a funny way and its prolly as it should be for now, since mori is new to it and khaldor casts for thousands of years. You find the same thing in the dualcast of Rotterdam&MrBitter sometimes, its normal and makes the cast more funny and exciting. Some ppl are too serious about some things i guess.

Right, Mr. Critic, so saying "you don't work at all with a co-caster, if you become a GSL caster you will suck" (freely quoted) is your definition of criticism?
I didn't watch the cast yesterday, but Khaldor seemed to work pretty well with Mori today. Khaldor does at times get overexcided when a lot of action happens on the map and sometimes talks over his co-casters in those situations, but hey, that's the energy most of us love his casts for.
And should the "talking-over" his co-casters become a problem, I'm sure it's something he can work on.

I think the Stream is quite okay and I enjoyed to watch it but I gotta agree with FaRa in some points. You seem to like to make fun of people and you seem a bit offended if this happens to you (at least thats what your acting is saying at some points). Anyway it's hard to judge that just by watching a stream. In addition to this you really don't pick up what your co-commentator is saying. You both are commenting the game, but you never pick up like what your partner is saying. This is like Tasteless and Artosis (where Tasteless seems to pick up EVERYTHING Artosis is saying), just the other way round. Nevertheless I liked the commentaries. Everybody has to learn and I guess korea will be a great experience.
Oh and just a sidenode: I was a bit confused with Goody and his marauder opening where none of you seemed to know this build. It's rarely seen nowadays but that surely is, in my oppinion, a build that a good commentator should know about! (I hope I didn't get that wrong there)
So keep up the work. Looking forward to see more :-) And Mori did a good job aswell. He seemed a bit nervous at some points or slightly out of his "known territory" but that did not make the stream any worse. He did a good job aswell.
PS: I just registered here to give you a feedback so I hope this won't be marked as "hate" since I watched that whole screen. I could have just switched it if I didn't like it...

hey there,
i used to have a lot of skepticism (and i believe i posted critics here). but - i'd say there has been a lot of improvement recently. the right choices has been made. i like to see mori and khaldor together. your stream integrates (better than most other streams) the community by reading out posts regularly - which is a fu**ing great thing.
i can see were FaRa is going and i have to second that the communication could be much more equal-sided (fluent) between 'you' both. i dont think this should be a critic, since this is obviously a co-casting and not a double-cast. right?

EDIT
post deleted, sorry for my german language.

Anyway it's hard to judge that just by watching a stream.
The official language is English. It does not matter if Khaldor actually does comment and shoutcast in German at times. You should still use English in this thread or contact him via PM, because its disrespectful to all others.

He sometimes casts in English. In the past it was about 50% of the time, nowadays it might be a bit more since he's also going to Korea to cast GSL. !

haha just had the same idea mate.
For all of you who might not be interested in reading the whole thing/speaking german:
It's Khaldors Blog. It is him hating on dota for about one page, saying it should not become an esport and it does not require any skill. Also, he says it would suck to commentate that, it would be retarded to watch it and DotA just sux overall.
SO WHAT DOES HE DO!? play and commentate.
Thank you for your very existence Khaldor, just proving once again how the internet makes people famous and fanboys them even though everyone should see how stupid they are.
From the Blog:
+ Show Spoiler +"Sind wir doch mal ehrlich: Wer von uns will diesen Mist wirklich als anerkannten eSport-Titel??? Kein Schwein. Ok ok, ein paar Lowbird-WC3-Spieler die’s nie über LVL 20 geschafft haben und denken Micro und Macro wären Teilnehmer der jüngsten DSDS Staffel."
So just think if you really want to support someone who does not want esport to grow and evolve. I certainly do not.

Thank you for posting. Didn't know that about Khaldor. Was very disapointed turning into to the stream and hearing him bash Dota-"Skill" etc.
|
So wait ... two years ago, he said that he didn't think that DotA needs lot of skill. People are allowed to argue about that.
His main point however was, that it is impossible to actually to show people everything that is going on in a game of Dota. Which mostly is true when there are 5 heroes on 3 lanes. If something exciting is happening at top and just as the observer switches there is something fucking amazing happens at bottom, you are bound to miss some of the action and possibly even be disapointed cause you are missing stuff. This ties into the fact that the old DotA, which the post is about, actually did not have a spectator interface as good as DotA2.
So if you are actually complaining about a post he made 2 years ago, think about what you thought 2 years ago and tell me if your views did not change.

He still says dota does not require skill. His main point was NOT that its hard to watch it was to bash on dota for no reason.
For me Khaldor has been killing esports ever since he started casting SC2, since I simply can not stand his way of casting, but that is just my opinion.
Also he said (on stream today) that he played dota for more than 2 years, that he was very good at it and that its a cool game etc, just to be popular. That just does not add up.
You are entitled to your opinion, I for one just don't want him to go around and trashtalk about stuff he does not know about. But appearently since this is a very common thing nowadays he gets fans for it.

Ok, so it is his opinion, sadly people are entilted to have different opinions.
Claiming that somebody is doing anything than promoting eSports with his casting is a rediculous argument. Especially if you are claiming you do not like his casting and hence he is turning people away from it. What about Moletrap, DoA, Day[9], Total Biscuit, Incontrol, DjWheat? Are they hurting ESPORTS because you might not like their casting style?
People whio actually killed eSports were the CPL. That shit was hurting eSports. And not a style of casting you do not like. It's like saying Heribert Fassbender was hurting professional soccer in germany, cause imo his casting was horrible.

If someone with a certain amount of influence talks down on something he is not promoting it.
"I don't think XXX is a real sport it should never be olympic" <- if some sport caster says that he is not helping the sport community grow, he rather devides it, making it weaker as a whole. Same goes for e-Sport. same goes for Khaldor talking about DotA.
What is up?
