We'll look into what we can do to enable a better VOD experience, whether it's enabling the twitch VOD archives or improving how we record VODs locally. Personally I didn't buy TSL+ (I'm on a very tight budget) so I don't feel I'm entitled to anything beyond the high quality content I'm already getting for free. I certainly don't mind waiting 12ish hours or even a couple days for VODs. The one part I strongly agree with is that I do enjoy hearing the casters analyze & speculate between games and you only get to hear that if you watch live since the VODs don't include it. I'd love to see VODs including that content in the future somehow.

Not to sound rude or anything of the sorts but isn't it just a button you click to auto record to twitch?? You record the broadcast EXACTLY so no spoilers or watching the observer close the replay or anything like that. <3 TSL!

Thanks! I would also like a feature such as this. I was missed one of the streams and I was sad I searched for the youtube and then I found the results by reading them and I lost interest. Having the VOD would rock! Especially because I subscribed to TSL+. gl hf!

The Twitch VODs are susceptible to frame drops that can occur during the stream, eg if our upload connection lags, there will be missing data in the VODs. Processing VODs separately allows us to record at a much higher bitrate / quality than we are able to stream, ensuring that the VODs are even better quality than the live stream. It's also much easier to cut up and manage VODs recorded separately, as Twitch cuts them up at 2 GB or 2 hour time splits which makes splitting out individual games very difficult.
