Only partly. If he was a nobody in BW and SC2 he'd probably would have been perma banned a long time ago. His status as one of the best foreign players is what keeps him around, and that is also a big part of why he's known, not just just balance whines.
Why are some people arguing about trying to perma-ban prominent members within the community? In IdrA's case, I'd say TL Staff has been more than lenient and at times more than strict enough with him. (Remember the long ban and drama that ensued because of what he said on stream?)
Also @ Seeker - The rules are rules mindset is quite naive if I have to be blunt about it. Compare it to real life, I agree with you in theory, but that's just not how it works, and I don't expect TL to live up to this "perfect world" expectation when the real world falls more than short.

I want to bring this quote to attention, TheNessman seems like a nice guy with good intentions, and he gets excited easily yet at the same time he knows when he's going overboard and doesn't really mind? (He wrote that after going off on a caster, which got him temped) Perhaps bring this to his attention? He seems like a fine citizen, unless he goes off on a tangent and throws everything out the window.

Probably a combination of "stop being a bitch" and a "numbers... profit!"- enumeration. The latter seems kind of unwanted in general.

He was a bit too blunt about it with too much swearing, but his intentions were good. If I had to evaluate that post the first half would be borderline, but the fact that he ended the post off with a "meme" probably tipped it over the edge resulting in a warning. That is just my analysis, I'm curious myself now!
