To be fair, he did have a point. Though his numbers of dead children seem off by a lot. Although he may have been primarily banned for something he posted in the dramatic pictures thread which has now been removed.
It ticks me off though that this guy has now forever claimed the TL username of one of the greatest orcs of all time. The legendary warrior who sacrificed himself to break the demonic hold over the horde. Such a waste.

Lok'tar ogar! TO BATTLE!
And yes, I'm assuming it was more because of his post history in conjunction with that pretty bad post there.

TL needs to get Black Hawk B.A.N. official helicopters to soar through the air around that thread, it's like the blizzcon thread, but will be much worse I predict.
Some call it tragic, I call it entertainment for the evening.

EDIT: I just noticed marttorn's post above mine. Let's fund this, guys! Buy a TL shirt so the staff can afford their ban-copters!

Tsk, seems like both sides couldn't contain themselves. I'm a bit dissapointed to be honest. Both sides of the debate had logical reason, but then they let their tempers and lack of manners get the better of themselves.

I was desperately looking for a reason to speak out on him. YES OH GOD YES. Here are some recent examples of his posting:

would mean more $$ for them cause of the licensing rights with sc2 but at the same time really cool to see how these sc1 legends will do. this will just be the beginning of the end for sc1 imo. time to move on yo! Great vision, i hope it will come true.

... And some other comments. For some reason he reminded me of Juanald. In case you're wondering, juanald is a guy that only posts on occasion, but he somehow ALWAYS manages to make EVERY SINGLE POST he makes about how amazing and underrated all the north american "star" SC2 players are, Machine Incontrol Axslav to name a few.
He also manages to show staggering amounts of ignorance for every scene but the NA scene, he basically insinuated that Europe didn't have "enough money" to bring Stephano out to a lan -_-'
Uh, well that was off-topic, but nonetheless. I was reminded of him for some reason.

Well, he is the villageidiot after all.

Not to mention one of hist posts is just a quote of Steve_Jobs_did_911. I don't know man,I keep F5ing the ban list thread and the dude is still not there:D

Damnit, I should of chosen a more epic occasion to pop the meat loaf out. But it was too tempting.

For those who don't know me, I am currently a commentator for the UFC and also a comedian, and host a podcast where I talk with friends about random topics.
In the most recent episode, Duncan Trussell, a good friend of mine and huge Starcraft fan, brought up the game during the discussion. If any of you have been following my podcasts and know my history with video games, you would know that I was an avid Quake player (probably played too much and was addicted), so I am a little familiar with the Quake scene in competitive video games.
I've read some of the reactions in this thread and hope that I could clear some things up. I wasn't trying to be dismissive or belittling of Starcraft or competitive video games in general because I know that's where MMA used to be. In my life, combat sports were my Starcraft. I felt the same way about people's perception of MMA during the early UFC days and PRIDE. Part of my reaction to Duncan's explanation for his fascination with Starcraft were because of my ignorance with the game and the community, and I'm not too proud to say that. I decided to spend an hour or two watching some games of Starcraft, specifically MLG as recommended by Duncan, and am amazed how different, or rather, how much bigger the people behind Esports has gotten since the Quake days. It has changed my view on how passionate and attractive video games can be in the form of being a watchable sport, and am excited to see where this thing goes in the future.
Lastly, I may start playing to learn a little more about the game to appreciate the difficulty and nuances of the game, and am leaning towards Zerg since Duncan tells me they're the hardest race to play. Next time Duncan comes on the podcast we'll talk more about Starcraft and my new experiences and views on the game.

I'm hoping it wasn't for this. Probably deserves the warning, but I don't think this is ban worthy. I don't think he's trolling, some SC2 fans really would like to see BW players play SC2. If something is community news'ed I think that gives the right for SC2 fans to speak their mind on the subject. Maybe just not so many times in a row though....
