I'm really curious about what magic powers he thought he had and at what age. I tried searching for this lore but for obvious reasons it was a bit of a slog to get through and I didn't end up finding anything

Can't believe I am defending MagicPowers, but the guy has many flaws but I don't think it is fair to even put him in the same sentence as right wingers or alluding a connection any other way. Unless ofc we do that to everyone now who has any overlap at all.
I repeatedly clashed with him over what I believe is his tendency of having opinions that are based on not much but a feeling or spontaneous reaction initially, and then he goes out to find arguments to support these opinions. This happened both in the forum and in dms. He starts at an opinion, and then tries to prove it with his "arguments", like a lawyer trying to win a case for their client disregarding if they are actually innocent and often with arguments of procedure or technicalities.
He also plain sucks at arguing his points and is incredibly easy to bait, like by what must be TLs most controversial moderator who absolutely harassed him in a fashion that single handed brought down my opinion of this staff by a lot. Because of this, even when he had what to me felt like a reasonable point I could support he managed to make me cringe at the very least, or lose me completely as soon as he got into arguments with people. And later on his conduct had already made him prone to receiving kneejerk reactions where everyone is happy to dunk on him or dogpile him, which doesn't lead to improvement on his part thanks to his mentioned "qualities". There was a point where I expected him to leave because the pattern of him posting something and then getting push back in a manner that absolutely was more based on his history than his argument seemed very clearly established, but I guess it’s not surprising that the self-reflection for that wasn't there.
He is the type of person however that I could absolutely see getting pushed into some more extreme narratives by such behaviours, but that ofc would entail some personal responsibility on people who would absolutely not be willing to deal with that .
So in short, I am not a fan of the guy, but he is not right wing, he is just a dude on the internet who is bad at forming and arguing his opinions. Himself nuking is probably for the best because even if he wanted to keep posting here, I think he would need a fresh start with a clean slate. There are too many people who would give him a hard time because dunking on people is fun sometimes. I don't think he could fly under the radar for long, unless he takes a very prolonged break. And I bet every one of you who feel the desire to dig through his post history now would only do so to justify whatever shit opinion you have on him, so it’s for the better that you can't easily, because fuck that mindset.

But if I recall correctly that started with me saying that the Russian army were complicit in war crimes just like the Wehrmacht and he, unprovoked and unashamed, decided to explain that the Wehrmacht did nothing wrong. He then went on to explain that if all these murderous Nazis were guilty of something then surely they'd have been held accountable. As they were not then the only reasonable conclusion was that they did nothing wrong.
Maybe there's a longer way of responding to that than calling someone a Nazi but ultimately, that's Nazi shit. Nazi shit that he decided to just announce to the world as his own personal views. In any case, that was just one exchange. After that exchange he followed me around and kept starting shit. Sure, there was harassment, but I wasn't the one doing it. Your accusation was harassment, I pointed out that he was constantly starting shit with me, not the other way around, and your counterpoint was the time that I told him that he was engaging in Nazi apologism. He brought up something about a bunch were not found guilty as a point against universally declaring anyone there a war criminal or something like that. Nope. I am saying that if you are a cunt towards people, they tend to be cunts to you. And the way I see it, you were a cunt to him first in the russia thread. And I already established that "he did it first" is no excuse. No, the harassment claim, as repeatedly stated, referred to the russia thread where you did what I said. I also don't think you deserve him going after you, but being like "yooo this guy follows me around and attacks me" after from my POV that is exactly what you have been doing to him in the russia thread is like... yeah ok, if that is true bad bad MagicPowers. Doesn't change the fact that you did the same to him in the russia thread. Now apply the same standard to your own behaviour and I am happy.
Given that I see your framing of the russia incident as inaccurate at best and having seen your general conduct of course I don't take your word for it. That is all I alluded to there, not that you deserved it, not that it is okay for MagicPowers to be hostile towards you out of the blue. I even have no problem saying you both harassed each other at different times. Probably true, the MagicPowers issue seems fixed, now go and fix that you harass people in this forum.
