Sorry I misunderstood it as a joke. MagicPowers is his forum name. Maybe there is some further lore I am not aware of.
I don't support trying to dig through his posting history to nitpick shit to paint him as some right winger or anything other than what is well established: that he was bad at formulating his opinions and arguing. Maybe I have a bit of a double standard there, not sure. My initial post was just about him not being right win, not defending his honour or anything.
Also I assumed that his account got nuked proper, but it seems like its still there and he might just have left. Probably a good call on his part.

I can tell you from a lot of experience that when you like going into these it's very hard to remove yourself, even if you know that would be good for you. Making sure you can't change your mind makes sense to me. Although when I feel like that I go for like a month ban or something, perm is extreme.

After he decided we were enemies MP made a point to jump into exchanges I was having with others and pick fights with me. However he wasn't very good at it. That's why he's the aggressive chihuahua at the dog park.
I took issue with the word harassment because harassment has a victim, a party that does not want to be in the interaction but has the interaction forced upon them without their consent. I felt it was being implied that I was in some way victimizing MP. To me it felt like the opposite, he followed me, he purposefully initiated our interactions. When I asked him to just ignore my posts if he didn't like me he declared something silly along the lines of "I'll always speak out against injustice whenever I see it".

So the difference between your and my understanding of harassment is just the 'pursuit' component, got it.
It's still harassment without pursuit - if I were to open every reply to a particular poster with "You're a horrible cunt, but..." it would be harassment regardless of whether or not I sent them DMs, pursued them in other threads, or found them elsewhere on the internet. Simpler, it's still harassment if I greet a coworker with "nice tits" half the time I see them even though they told me not to do that anymore, even if I don't also text them or visit their office to share my message.
For what it's worth, I don't think you harassed MP by either definition (or didn't pay enough attention to notice). I do think there's some value in highlighting that you -do- harass people, GH being the most obvious example, so it's not unthinkable that you would/could harass other users.
My definition wasn’t intended as an all encompassing definition that also covered workplace sexual harassment. I’m not the dictionary. It was just intended to illustrate the importance of the party initiating the interaction and the interaction being unwanted.

For what it’s worth, I think perhaps Kwark did goad the guy a bit, but I’ve no great issue with it. If you’re giving a reformed alcoholic shit all the time about their drinking days, that’s a bit shit. If you’re pointing out that the perpetual alcoholic is doing those alcoholic things, less so.
Was a bit much at times, agreed with that. Equally if MP kinda dropped their worst tendencies I think Kwark leaves them be.
