You are right. TL has a co-optation which is used to propagate a certain set of criteria throughout the modding staff limiting the diversity of behaviors. It's perfectly understandable because of the "This is our house" commandment.
There was yet another attempt at a gender educational thread, it began OK and then people started to question the validity of the paradigm presented (that transgender wasn't due to a mental illness) and it was over when the army of well-meaning but un-educated defenders of the gender paradigm came over. Thank god I got out before I got another ban. We should just close any discussion on gender on TL. It is too strongly related to language and culture that it puts people that aren't familiar with that paradigm to be treated unfairly (by posters and mods alike)

I find it impossible to purposefully violate all other commandements while violating no. 9. (Technically, I have already violated a part of it, because I never posted in that thread, but that's not quite doing it all at once.) Also, no. 2 is quite a lot of points - is it enough to violate one of them? Because for example "not bumping old threads" is very difficult to accomplish in an OP. And finally, there is no. 3, that's a Catch 22-level problem!

But I press onwards, to plead the case of a fellow forum member, to the imposing panel of TeamLiquid arbitration. At most, one or two liked this one, some/most remember his previous name for a rather pathetic and silly case of immaturity. More recently he's poured his person through his screen out onto the forums, and has been met with resounding disapproval and disdain, even from the house wardens.
Kid seems to have major interpersonal issues with the way he relates to others. Can't control his temper, can't conjure the socially appropriate reaction/interaction, and is still sadly immature, borderline delusional. Yeah, kid totally sounds like he needs help.
I found his forum corpse on the way to the court-room, from it dangled a quickly scrawled note, with multiple crossings-out and revisions "kid didn't grow up and was annoying, get out". I seek to contest that. So a kid doesn't mature into a socially well-adapted adult over 4 years, sooo ... nuke 'em!
