This is great! I might put it in and credit you. My only fear is that if something changes, it would either make the image inaccurate or no longer representative (that's why I tried to make everything general or not so reliant on pictures).
This would mean changing it to reflect TL.
edit: The image is also large. I tried to make the guide with small enough pictures so it doesn't require more clicking or to get out of the topic to see the image
I might also replace some of the boxes, some of the things you wrote I feel don't really give an open-mind: "As a rule of thumb; everyone without a blue border has no idea what they're talking about". I realize it's a slight exaggeration/joke, but some may interpret it that way and it also leads to the idea that if you don't have a blue border, you don't have anything worthwhile to contribute. The blue highlight is meant to solely highlight promising advice, not single them as solely the ones who know what their talking about [hence why the suggestion that there should be a "jump to blue-highlighted poster" is always shut down].
You have to be a non-highlighted blue poster in the strat section before you can have the blue in you :B
Anyways, I'll have to gander at the picture more! It's great!

wow you certainly put some time into this. im closing in on one year as a member (over a year as a lurker) and there were still some little things i didnt know about.
i'll also be showing this to a friend who is a newcomer to the starcraft universe and TL. thanks! ^^

Holy moly torte :O This is madness and you still have so much space reserved. I can now show my gf why i spend so much time on these forums and she might better understand that its a damn complicated and huge community.

No very nice screenshot, I'd support that or something like it (TLBot should send a PM to new users pointing to multiple threads that are basically required reading if you're used to the rest of the gaming internet)

I just had a brief moment of reflection. A close friend of mine just made his first million a few days ago and I was like "meh, whatever". Then I see that Torte has been posting ~10 times for each of my posts on TL and I feel like I've been wasting my life.

The original draft on page 2, post #1 indicates I started it in early May.
When I had to redo the entire thing, that was back in August and again in end of August.
So I've written it three times. It was a lot smaller back in May and the original draft is actually the second revision and then Plexa & JWD gave me good direction and organization ideas which had me rewrite it a third time with further elaboration.

Incredible post. So much detail and relevant information. I especially liked how you made articles for all of the more modern tl projects as well as reserving the first page for space to add more later. I am in awe of your dedication. Thank you for this.

Amazing to see the final product! It has come a long way from what you showed me previously! Congrats torte - it looks like a lot of time and effort has paid off; to be honest people just quite simply don't have an excuse now lol
I hope this becomes visible because at the end of the day it usually takes a ban to figure out what you've done wrong (except for obvious idiotic posts) - so the more open this is to new members, the better.
Oh and thanks for the mention  i feel e-famous :O
