Been avoiding registering an account here for months but.... 
Anyway, PacWac, there's a massive LAN coming up soon (May 28th) in the XGC Gaming Centre in Dublin. Last time, we managed to get 40 people and there's a much larger turn up expected this time due to the massive success of the last one.
You should join us all on IRC - #starcraft.ie @ Quakenet.
Also, here are the relevant threads with regards to the LAN. You still got time to sign up - it's only a 10er and I was at the last one. I can recommend it 100% and it was one of the best €10 I spent all year.

There's actually a much larger Irish community that the one present on TL. I know there are many more like me that dislike TL and so remain relatively unknown ^^

This is sweet. My friends and I don't have exams around this date. In the information, it asks about being over 18. Is this a necessary requirement? All of us are seventeen. : (

Nope, you can be any age whatsoever... but this is an all-night event so you need to understand that, too  The reason for wanting to know if people were 18 is that the gaming center is directly behind a pub (think semi-detached house!) and they are going for beers beforehand (not too many, though!) and so were encouraging any of the others who are eligible to come along and join them. You're free to come and go throughout the night as well, but you must pay the fee regardless. There is no age requirement other than acting like an adult in a fun atmosphere.

Thanks for the information. I'll let the others know. 10pm-10am means trying to pay for a bus ticket back to Belfast with my eyes half closed. I'll post on Boards.ie soon probably. ^^

There'd be no harm in asking if anyone's drivingthat could give you a lift. Getting a bus to Louth would be better than paying the entire way!

The SC2 Lan is booked and ready for the 28th May 2011.
Venue: XGC gaming center on liffey street in Dublin City.
duration: 10pm to 10am.
Fee: 10 euro for the night.
you can either use a computer that is there, OR bring your own PC/Laptop

looking for an irish practise partner (If he/she lives near Cork / Middelton it'd be a plus) Don't care about the race so I'd prefer random. 
Skill Level should be arround platin, I'm Diamond but haven't played for ages, so that should fit fine. Important is that he/she has time after 10pm cause I'm working in late shift.
